| thats cool, the way your doctor worded it is also incorrect, i didnt mean to make you sound like a fool. Muscle and fat are 2 different tissues, muscle can hypertrophy or atrophy while body fat levels stay the same. The be most effective you have to either build muscle and burn fat in seperate cycles, becasue keeping a caloric defecit and surplus is obviously immpossible at the same time. You can gain 5 lbs of muscle and lose 5 lbs of fat, you will weigh the same, but thats not what matters. | |||

| Sorry missmagill, thats wrong. You cannot convert fat into muscle. If that was the case you can turn your stomach into a lung if you wanted to. To gain weight (muscle) you have to do heavy resistance training, theres no way around that. you have to hit the weights at least 3-4 times a week, for at least 45 minutes. You must eat cleanly with 500 calories over maintance calories to gain a pound a week. Eat the same foods as if you were trying to lose fat, but just eat alot more of them. this means a ton of grilled chicken, salads, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, lean meats, protein shakes etc... you will gain some fat by eating more calories, but as long as you lift hard, a majority of the energy will build muscle. Look into supplements such as salmon oil, creatine and different protein sources. you can do a dieting(cut cycle) by doing the same exact thing except lower your calories by 250-500, while eating and lifting the same. | |||

| your weight and body fat isnt that obsurd to begin with, especially since you are a woman. Nonetheless you should always do 3 sets 8-12 reps of the heaviest weights you can possibly lift with good form. In other words if your lifting a weight and can do 14 reps, its not heavy enough. This is the best way to build muscle which will ultimately act as a furnace for fat and calories in the long run. Do a consistent cardio and make sure to compensate your calories based on your excercise, if you work out you must eat more! | |||

if thats you in your photo id say you have nothing to worry about ;) but take my advice! The best and most efficient way is to do a combo of weights and intense cardio and lowered calorie diet. how many times have you heard that cliche advice? i had the same problem for a while, but if you want to lose any love handles you have to work your ass off running. |

| someone said work your abs everday... not true, also you can work out as much as you want, just try to avoid working the same muscle twice in a row for maximum results in strength and repair. You will be more prone to injury, i found out the hard way. Your abdominals are a muscle group just like everything else, train them every other day. | |||

| squats and sprints jellybones! Its that simple! about 3 times a week at least. Eating the right foods and correct calories is a given. Look into an HIIT sprinting program and do full body core excercises. | |||

sure its easy, lets make 5 mph the min for sake of argument. Find the max speed you can do without stumbling, or AKA sprinting moderately. Start with 10 minutes one week, 15 another, 10 another 15 another, 20 another, 25 another and so on. The key for HIIT is the be on a constant rollercoaster of ups and downs. always do a 5 minute warmup job not counted towards your time... you can do 90 sec intervals or 2 minute intervals, i started with 90 personalyl but find whats good for you, a minute is the minimium for max effect. 0-2 min moderate jog around 5.5 mph 2-4 min moderate sprint around 6.8 mph 4-6 job around 5.8 6-8 sprint around 7.2 8-10 jog around 5 10-12 sprint... and so on, the key is to keep mixing it up, so your heart is all over the place, your body will go nuts and youll feel it. theres no set way to do this, experiment and keep increasing intensities. |

| 25% is fine, you have higher body fat becasue you need to support a baby, or so basic instict says. Going to low will result in ammenhoria, which is the loss of a menstrual cycle, sounds good? it isnt, you wont be able to have kids and you will be extremely sick, your perfectly fine at 25%. | |||

| thats normal, that happens to me quite often, dont let the guilt get to you, the fact you had to stop means nothing. I'm pretty sure its ust basic muscle fatigue, lactic acid reactions and glycogen supplies in your muscles. Make sure your not overdoing it, becasue i learned the hard way. | |||

If i had to guess id bet your one of those girls who think they need to lose a few pounds but probabaly dont! 127 is pretty small! work on building muscle, I would just work on toning and weight lifting like you mentioned. | |||
