i'm nobody...  but you might want to check my journal.  lol  i couldn't even walk down my own driveway & back up it when i started losing weight.  eventually, i walked 8 miles a day or more!  :D

super congrats!  LOL  i'll always remember when i was losing & me & hubby went to buy our daughter some fries.  when we got them thru the drive thru, we both started sniffing 'em & laughing at how good great they smelled.  i was laughing so hard that i was crying!

we didn't steal any, but i could just imagine her not wanting to touch them after we had both been sniffing them & drooling over 'em.  hehe

i think cleaning really does burn alot of calories, because i don't really burn that much anymore with my 'staying active' routine.  it's mostly just spurts here & there & mostly just stretching, twisting, you know...  easy stuff...  :D

hey, is it monday?!  oh yeah!  it's weigh in day!  lol  i've been staying around 132, but i just weighed myself & i'm 133.  tomorrow i might actually be 131 then.  i dunno.  i usually lose at least 2 pounds overnight, but sometimes i lose more & sometimes...  actually, none...

for sure!  we are both real excited about myrtle beach!  we don't really have the money either, but at least the place is paid for.  we just have to buy the gas, food, entertainment & stuff.  i think we could get away cheap, but we'll probably go overboard.  hehe  i just got a new credit card.  geez, we just got 2 new tires & an alignment, too.  we really needed them, though, and it's a 14 hour drive.

at least you're going to see billy elliot!  that'll be nice!  who's bday?  yours?  yeah, even if them kids leave, they usually end up coming back.  LOL  or at least mine do!  that's awesome how your daughter is still getting paid for that summer internship!

130?  hey, i'm catching up to you again!  YAY!  i'll probably come back from our trip & be 140 again, though.  even without the trip, you sure got that right!  LOL  november = calories!  you're too late with the advice.  hehe  i have been eating too much candy, but i guess i have the right balance...  somehow...

oh man!  i am sooooo excited!!!  i'm still on my cleaning frenzy, too.  i'm trying to do as much as i can.  drawers, cupboards, file cabinets...  everything!  my daughter's cat still has 1/2 the house, though.  i'll have to get to that part of the house after our trip.

LOL  i can't believe you left them dresses at home!  that's funny... at least it all worked out and you had a nice time at the wedding.  that rots that it was too cold to run on campus.  i know you were really looking forward to that.  i love McD!  i usually get the spicy chicken sandwich for a dollar & fries, or 2 spicy chickens.  you know me.  hehe  i'd never drop the cheese or ham on an egg mcmuffin.  ;)

i finally got my new computer.  it's pretty cool, i guess.  i haven't used it much yet.  jamie moved out on the 1st or 2nd & i've been cleaning ever since.  it's a spring cleaning sort of thing.  i'm getting pretty sick of it, but i'm gonna clean this whole house someday, if i can.  i'd like to come home to it after our anniversary trip & have it all clean.  that'd be awesome, but i dunno if i'll be able to finish.

it's a wreck in landon's room & ashley's room.  i can't go in there until wendy gets her cat outta here.  i'm allergic to cats, so it's got about 1/2 of this house all to itself. 

hubby is doing good.  he hasn't weighed himself in a while, but he's making better decisions.  he seems pretty happy, too.  hey, get this!  him & ang have been eating salad again!  LOL  i've kinda been pushing it, but it's working...

129?!  5k in 32 minutes?!  geez, you're pretty awesome!  :D  well, about the 5k, that is...  129 might be a little low.  hehe

i was 132 this morning.  i've been slowly going back down.  man, it sure has been a long time, huh?  geez!  it's been over a month since i posted?!  oh well, at least you know i'm ok.  just pulling the 'wonder woman' bit.  it sure will be nice when i don't have to drive ang to work at 6:30 every mon-fri.  that's about 20 minutes each way.

yeah, i gotta wear landon out somehow.  lol  it's been pretty rough lately, though.  i get up at 6 to take ang to work, jamie picks her up & i start at 9.  ang watches landon til i get home from work at 2 & then i bring her to work again & watch him til 6 or 7 on fridays.  mostly, i've only been just hanging out with him or driving.  i finally started putting him on the potty, though.  he's 2 now, so he should start going.  my kids were all trained when they were 1.  i always figured if they could walk, they could go potty.

my eating hasn't been that great, but i guess it's ok.  i actually stole some fruit from jamie last week.  i knew she wouldn't eat it & she didn't.  i finally bought some grapes, but i should go get a nice, big watermelon.

man!  that'll be awesome, running through the campus!  :D  you'll probably see alot of people who haven't seen you since you lost weight, huh?  that's a trip!  i still get that alot.

we have them kiosk things here, too.  it's pretty cool.  it's stupid that you have to pay, but whatever...  lol  keep on ralking!  or wunning!  i'm doing great with my spurts.  last night was weird.  i think hubby is gonna try to lose weight again.  he was all excited about the biggest loser & he actually weighed himself, put it on the calendar, and went on the treadmill for 15 minutes!  i went on the stepper for 3 whole commercials.  hehe  i can't do it for too long at a time...

134 today, morton!  i'm finally catching back up with you!  but it's wednesday, one of our nights out.  wednesday & saturday...  i don't know about the computer.  i've been looking, but i might buy ang a car instead.  OR give her mine & get a nice cheap one for me.  i don't know how cheap i can get one for, though, and that'd be more insurance, too.  whatever, i'll take it slow.  she doesn't even have her license yet.

that ipad looks cool, but you need to pay for their internet, though.

dude...  i'm still fat!  LOL  i guess i was 137 monday, but i forgot.  all i know is i'm always going up & down, but still in my happy zone. 

131 is great!  see?  you can still eat out & all that...  you are sooooo active!  it sounds like you've been having a great time, too.  i want to go to the race track! 

for my spurts, i just do some walking in place or running, stretches or something for a few minutes straight.  whatever i feel like doing, really.  i don't really call it exercise.  hehe  i like to call it 'upping my metabolism'.

nah, when i walk with landon, i just walk with him.  he's pretty cool, though.  he really loves to run!  :D  he's only 2, so don't think he's too fast. 

i've been having computer problems, but i think it's ok now.   just as long as i don't use explorer.  i'm using firefox now.  i still want to buy a new computer, though.  i'm waiting to find a good deal on a nice one.

yeah, i'm just waiting for myrtle beach... LOL i can't wait! sorry i'm late again, but i haven't even had my computer turned on for a few days. i'm mad at it! it keeps closing my browser windows. the stupid thing. :(

i knew you were too skinny last week! ;) i knew you'd go back up on your own, though. you guys should go on a cruise there in chicago. i'm sure you'd love it! nah, we just went on a 2 hour sightseeing cruise. it was nice, though, especially because it was right here & we've never done it before.

i wondered what bahama breeze was like. we go to olive garden alot & i always get free gift cards from reading emails & stuff from mypoints & inboxdollars. we rarely go to red lobster, but i see the restaurants all listed on the gift cards. i hope your work party went well.

that's alot of calories you're burning! i knew you must be burning alot. i don't believe them HRMs anyway. i think you're burning even more than that. you're still burning extra calories when you stop exercising. it takes a while for your body to realize it's 'break time'. :D i love doing my spurts throughout the day. just a few minutes here & there, and they all add up. i went walking the other day with the grandkid for a long time. that was nice, slow, though! i changed my hours at work because i'm gonna have to start babysitting alot more now. at least he loves walking with me!

anyway, i was 138 monday, i think. 136 today, but we're leaving soon for dinner & a few drinks. WooHoo!!! we go out on wed & sat now... every single week. :D

i haven't seen many movies lately. nothing that stands out, at least. we go to see free ones alot, though. they are free previews of upcoming movies & it's awesome getting out.

yep!  LOL  i sure DID have a good time!  nope, myrtle beach is my anniversary vacation.  that was just williamsburg.  i had alot more fun than i thought i'd have for a 'historic' place.  we went to virginia beach while we were staying in williamsburg & that was the best!  i wish we had stayed there instead, but it was a timeshare trade & virginia beach just wasn't available for exchange.

you know...  there is probably alot of things you can do if you don't go anywhere for your vacation.  me & hubby were just saying today, after our 2 hour cruise, (hehe) that there really IS alot to do right around here.  you could look into that!  :D

wow!  i'm glad that HRM is finally working better, and geez...  you're burning alot!  that's awesome!!!  and still eating good...  hehe  what?!  LOL  if you're not saying how much you weigh, it must be 129!  come on, you must be 129 OR less!  otherwise, you'd tell me.  ;)   don't get too skinny, now.  everyone needs a little meat on their bones...

hey!  i was down to 139 already today!  WooHoo!!!  a couple of days of good, well...  better eating & a little more exercise is all i needed.  well, that & at least 1/2 a tub of movie theater popcorn...  yeah, we went to the movies last night & a cruise today & movies again later & out for dinner & drinks...  i don't suppose i'll still be 139 tomorrow.

oh well, whatever...  at least i'm back in my happy zone!  :D  yep, maintaining at 134...  plus or minus 5 each way...  that works for me...

geez, 130 still?  oh man, i sure have some catching up to do!  LOL  i guess i should have brought my scale...  hehe  i gained 9 pounds in 9 days!  you know me, though.  it'll be gone soon.

yeah, vacation was pretty awesome.  it's worth it, i guess.  back to reality now!

how's that HRM now?  you should just return it if you don't like it.

oopsies!  hehe  i guess i forgot to say how much i weigh today.  145!  LOL  yeah, ouch...  gimme a few days...  just gimme a few days...  i'll behave.  don't worry!

i should have brought my scale...  hehe  oh well, too late now!  at least i had lots of fun.  :D

sorry it's been so long...  i've been working, shopping, getting into using coupons again, & lots & lots of babysitting...

yeah, 2 vacations.  LOL  the first one is gonna be sunday!  i am soooooo ready!  i'm not even worried about bringing my scale this time.  i'm just gonna have a great time, be me, and see what happens.  if i'm bad, i'll just have to work on that when i get home.  i can't imagine gaining much anyway.  hehe  i've been doing so good for so long - just like you.

yeah, november is both of our anniversaries.  i remember that.  it's too bad your wife used her vacation already, but i'm sure you'll find something really nice to do.

i wanted to go to hilton head instead of myrtle beach, but i think this room will be alot better anyway & i think myrtle beach will be awesome.  i've never been there, so i'm super excited.

i'm not so excited about williamsburg.  LOL  it's a historic sort of place.  at least it'll be a nice week to relax.  i thought we'd have a bunch of family going but i guess it'll just be me, hubby & ang.  she's real excited to vacation with just us for the first time ever.  the other kids were always there & stuff, ya know?  it'll be alot different for her with just us.

i didn't get any extra hours.  i only had 17 hours this week.  that sucks, but i'm making up for it bigtime with coupons.  :D

anyway, it's nice catching up!  geez, i can't believe it's been so long!  at least you've been doing really good & me, too.  wow...  130!  i've been mostly 136 lately, but still not worried about it.  i consider that to be maintaining at 134, which is fine with me.  lower would be nice, but there's way too much food & so little time...  hehe

that's funny how you said 'stay cool'.  LOL  it was in the 90's & luckily i had off from work because the a/c went out.  i can pick up some extra hours this week, but i don't know if i want to or not.  i probably won't.  we have 2 vacations coming up, though.  one in august & one in november.  williamsburg, pa & then myrtle beach, sc.  i'm so excited!  :D

that FT7 sounds pretty awesome.  how much is it?

i know what you mean about parties, family & things going on.  LOL  there's always something going on here...  and then, there's my chocolate!  :D

you're not kidding me about the heat!  man, it sure was hot for awhile!  Oh no!  i hope you got that new battery for your HRM.  those things are pretty awesome.  i don't even use mine anymore, though.  i wear my activity monitor instead.

i just do silly stuff.  i'm sure i look pretty stupid exercising.  LOL  i dunno.  stretching, twists, dancing...  whatever i feel like doing.

what?  you're gonna get a new HRM instead?  i dunno.  i really like mine, but there are probably alot of new ones out there.  you should check them out.  they just keep getting better & better.  i have the polar F11 & my activity monitor is the polar FA20.

back up to 137 today.  hehe  actually i was 140 yesterday!  i'm sure i'll be lower again tomorrow.  i just had alot of junk a couple of days in a row & ate late the other day.  i'm doing good now.

WOW!  Your scale sounds awesome!  and the best part is that you didn't buy it.  You remember what I told you...  We shouldn't be buying stuff like that with our weights.  hehe  For a gift, though, awesome!  :D

134 today.  Even with the 4th, I'm still hanging around 134 lately.  I did break down that night & have a slice of pizza.  just one.  I guess I've been eating less chocolate.

that interval training is awesome.  i've never done it, but i know it's pretty cool.  i should do that sometime.  i'm too lazy lately.  i gotta get back on the ball one of these days.  you should see the exercise i get.  you'd laugh hysterically!  hey, it's exercise...  and it's keeping me going.

that's really awesome about the marketing internship & possible permanent job!  i sure hope things work out!  :D

Geez!  I guess I was gone longer than I thought.  Oh well, sorry.  I've been hanging at 134 - 137.  137 is usually when I ate late at night.  I've been doing that alot lately.  The past few days I've been 134.  YAY!  :D

Good thing, too...  with the 4th coming up!  I work right downtown where all the festivities are, and we have alot of company.  They all had pizza today & I opted for noodles with mixed veges & hot sauce.  I don't know how good I'll do tomorrow, though.

It sure is great to hear that you are eating more & being more relaxed about it!  Yeah, you're balancing the good & the bad, so that's cool.  Last night, I ate so much food that I really thought I was gonna weigh 145, at least.  I got on the scale & was only 136!  WooHoo!  AND that was at night!

I sure am glad you're doing so great!

We've been eating out alot lately, but I'm still around...  well, 136 today, so that's not so bad.  LOL  not for all the food I'm eating...

i'm pretty jealous of you, but i know i can go lower any time i want.  ;)

yeah, it's too soon to say if i'll make anything on bukisa or not, but i'll give it a try.  i'm still making over $30 a month on ehow & i haven't written on there since march.  i made $23 so far this month.

i only made 14 cents so far on bukisa, but it was slow starting on ehow, too.  hehe  i think i'll join a few more sites, but there's no hurry.  it'd be pretty awesome to make extra money month to month for doing nothing.  well, i'll have to write more articles, but then i'll get paid as people keep reading them.

in bukisa, i get paid for people joining under me.  i have 7 under me already, but nobody much wrote anything yet.  i'm pretty excited about it & spending alot of time there.

you have a great weekend, too! 

oh!  i got hubby a treadmill yesterday!!!  it was only $40 from someone on craigslist & obviously used, but it works!  :D  hopefully, he'll use it!  he actually wanted one real bad!  cross your fingers for me...  ;)

132?  135 for me.  lol  well, we're pretty close.  i eat way more than you, though, and i hardly walk anymore.  i mostly just do simple stuff.  this activity monitor only recognizes my arm movement & continuous, at that.  so...  yeah, i keep it simple.  ;)

if hubby wants to walk again, i'll do that, for sure!  i kind of miss walking, but i don't miss getting all hot & sweaty.  hey!  i bought a new lawn mower!  it's awesome!  LOL  it's one of them really old fashioned ones with no engine.  you just push it & the blades spin.  i dunno.  i think it's pretty cool...

you need to drive 75 miles to the nursing home?  bummer.  that's a long way to drive. 

i really should get back on the ball.  hehe  jamie just signed me & hubby up for the relay for life on saturday & i'm working from 12 - 8!  we'll see if i actually do it or not.

my house is pretty full lately...  and loud!  it sure was nice to get that little taste of the good old empty nest thingy.  i gotta feed 'em all, too, right down to the dogs.  LOL  oh well...  it's nice to have everyone here.  :D

thanks!  i hope your weekend is awesome, too!  :D  i had off yesterday, worked today & off tomorrow.  we had a party yesterday with tons of food & junk.  i think we're going out tonight, so i don't know about the weigh in tomorrow.  hehe  i'm sure i'll be up!

that's great that you've been eating.  you know i like that.  well, i'm sure it was great for your wife to take a break, too.  it's nice that her brothers can help out.

135...  hehe  i'll be lucky if i'm only 135 tomorrow...  we'll probably have another BBQ tomorrow, too.  ;)

135 again.  lol  i keep hanging right around there.  oh well, that's not bad for not even trying.  WOW!  133?!  you probably just gained a bit from eating more & it'll just disappear on it's own.  i wouldn't bother cutting back.  of course, there's nothing wrong with turkeyburgers & salads.  ;)

i think you should just send all them sweets over here.  :D

it sure is great to hear that your foot is finally getting better & you're back to running.  be careful now!

hey, i was kind of worried about you.  you always check in.  did you notice that it's been over 2 years now?!  :D  yep!  5/12/08!  WooHoo!!!  that's all i wanted back then was to be under 140.  hehe  well, at least under 140...

i'm not sure why things are so easy for me now, but i think it's just that i'm eating healthy foods & exercising.  i never used to do that.  i still have the bad stuff, but i try to keep things balanced.

130?  you're higher than i thought you'd be, but considering the circumstances, that's great.  i'm really glad that you got that mcchicken & couple of parfaits.  yeah, they won't do any harm.  ;)

too bad you can't run, though.  i know you love running.  at least you're staying active & walking.  i'm still trying to get in my hour & 15 minutes minimum of plain old 'being active'.  i hope your foot gets better soon.  the weather here is supposed to be getting nice this week & we might all go walking.  it's been forever!

so sorry about your wife's mom.  that rots.  :(  hubby made us steaks for mothers day.  it was really nice & it was my idea, too.  i'm glad he agreed to do it.  i worked from 9 - 5, came home & everything was done right at that same time.

i haven't hardly hula hooped at all, but at least i know i can.  LOL  135 still today & i just had pizza 2 nights in a row!  so...  i'm doing great!
