I am a 46 year old male.  I am a school psychologist working in an elementary school.  In December 2006 I was diagnosed with diabetes through a voluntary blood screening through work.  I am lucky to have caught it early.  I've already learned a great deal about diet, exercise, and how food affects your body.  I have so much more to learn though!!  I'm looking forward to hearing from others how they are approaching their weight loss journey.
