not only that but I think more often than not the potassium amount for foods is not counted since it is not listed on their label, even though they might contain it, it is indeed frustrating and confusing to see you are always, day after day, 'off' on 1 item |

Oh don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the fact you are able to work out this much, good for you! I was just worried since you said you were eating 1200 calories that you were actually really under eating, you will burn quite some during the days you work out and so you really have to make sure you add in those calories to be sure to have enough to sustain your body :) |

eggs, cheese and peanutbutter are all very calorie dense foods. loosing weight has everything to do with learning to make different choices, for example I had whole wheat bread with fat free cream cheese and chicken today, vegetable soup with LOTS of different veggies, indeed maybe add in a fruit smoothie, all foods that have a bigger volume and lesser calories than cheese and peanutbutter, maybe use egg beaters instead of real eggs etc. just take it slow and start doing research, look up low calorie diet examples and pick the recipes and choices you like and slowly change the way you eat good luck!!! |

I do not want to be the 'party pooper' but do I read it right and you work out between 2 to 3 hours a day and you eat 1200 calories, aren't you adding calories for the work outs? |

just to give you the scientific approach: to gain back 5 lbs would mean you would have binged 17500 calories.....I doubt you did that ;) just to put things in perspective relax and get back on track, do not eat extra little or anything, just finish the day and start over again tomorrow......(hug) you'll be perfectly fine |

Original Post by yogagirl6853: OMG that is so unreal, I come from the Netherlands and well, cycling and Netherlands are pretty much synonyms, I mean check this link, that is about the average sight you see at each and every train station in our country! |

This little place called the Dutch Oven in Clarksdale MS, run by Mennonites. They make like the BEST pies ever and they have soups to DIE for.............well actually it is really a very very good thing I live about 700 miles away from that place, they definitely don't fit into my eating pattern! |

My whole wedding, engagement, ring and everything together has cost us a total of about $100,- / $150,- (and yes that includes a dress, LOL)(ok besides that the most costs went into getting a green card and me moving from the netherlands to the USA) |

If 2000 calories is to maintain your weight, than eating 2500 will make you gain, but slower than when you would eat 3000 calories, only eating less than your maintain, so less than 2000 calories, will make you lose weight. |

I don't have a sister to compare, but like most others said it's not worth it, for me it most definitely would end right at the moment she shoved me, indeed really? That most surely is stuff kids do, not a 40+ year old! Also: I just can't get over that "won't ride a bike because claims that gyno told her the bumps were bad for women to be "open" while hitting the bumps"-thing.....I'd really like to know about that LOL, what do they claim happens? |

Miracle noodle is a brand name, instead ask for shirataki noodles in the asian store and they will probably DO know what you are talking about :-) There is indeed a version with and without tofu. |

Even if I would not have been eating lower calorie I would still prepare 2 different meals for me and my husband, this is solely because he is a very picky eater and I eat way more vegetables for example than he does, it does not bother me at all, he does eat healthy, but let's say his repertoire is just very small, haha, too small for me! |

Same here, I make mine from scratch too (LOL and also add cumin or smoked paprika, funny) I mostly leave out the olive oil, so it is even a bit less in calories, you don't really miss the oil tastewise, because the rest of the ingredients stand out very much anyway (garlic and such), it's a yummie snack for sure! |
