About
| Bio | *Update*- Well, I'm now 27, and this is how it's been for the last 2 years. I did well with loosing weight, started eating clean and lifting weights. After about 6 months of this, my weight absolutely stalled at 127 and stayed that way for another half a year. Then change came in a flurry of bad timing, which is how these things often go. One month after a big move, my husband lost his job. Then I lost full time status at mine. At this point I decided that I had bigger things to worry about than what I put in my mouth everyday. Yeah, it went about how you'd expect. So in retrospect, taking a year to lose 23 pounds, and then using the next year to gain every pound of it back, was probably a big waste of time. However, I'm back, and I still have all the knowledge I learned on this site last time around. So I guess I'll just do it til I get it right. *shrug* Ok, I've never been too concerned with eating healthy, but I suppose I should start now and save myself a ton of grief later in life. I'm 25, female, and I have a wonderful husband of two years. I'm currently 132 lbs and just barely break five feet. I don't think of myself as overweight at all, but this is the most I've ever weighed, and since I'm starting to squish in places I decided its time to learn about healthy eating and get it right now, instead of waiting till I have 30 or 40 pounds to lose. I just recently graduated from FSC with a degree in Chemistry. Yay science! I now work at a citrus oil company as a lab tech, and absolutely love it! The hours are freaking nuts but the whole place smells so good, like orange blossoms all the time. Maybe after I get a few years of 'real world experience' (as if four years working 45 hrs a week plus a full course load wasn't real enough) I'll put myself through grad school. We'll see! What to shoot for: 40% carbohydrates 30% fats 30% protein 25g fiber <2300mg sodium "If you started when you first thought of it, you'd be done by now." - Unknown CCer
