I think the burn meter overestimates the total calories burned for larger people. I was 400 pounds - I speak from my own experience. If you weigh over 300 pounds you probably require a lot fewer calories than the burn meter states.

I am a computer tech by day, artist by education. I paint, draw, write, bake, and make the worst-yet-coolest sounds on my electric guitar.  I'm married 10 years now. No kids yet. Two dogs: Monet (Chinese Crested/Yorkie mix) and Jacques Cousteau (Alaskan Malamute), and our orange tabby d'Artagnan. I have also begun telling the stories of my puppet friends (after they demand that I create them first!). I am kinda weird.

I lost the weight years ago on another weight loss program but I let my guard down and it crept back up on me. Now I am using what I learned about my body then and the the tools that CC provides now to guide me along my new path to a healthier, leaner life.
