Luna bars, banana nut cheerios, or a low-fat cheese stick. No shame. |

Yeah, I'm betting her metabolism has slowed down so much that losing weight is nearly impossible unless you perpetually eat less and less, and that's certainly not healthy; speaking from experience. She might even gain weight because any little thing with that metabolism could count against her. Also, eating in the morning helps you burn more later on (from what I've heard), so skipping in the morning is just another strike against as well. |

Just because someone's not underweight doesn't mean they don't have a problem that needs to be recognized. I'm not necessarily suggesting that OP has a problem, but it's certainly not normal to only be eating 800-1000 calories a day. Just as above posters said, it's a pretty disordered habit to drink tea instead of eating, unless you have a binging problem, which it doesn't sound like you do. Nuts are pretty calorie-dense, so I can't imagine you eating a lot of them and still staying under 1000 calories with the other food you eat. If you really are getting incredibly full from the amount you posted, calorie-dense foods are your new best friends. Some examples:

Hello there. I'm a teenager gaining weight, too :3 I use drink supplements like Ensure and Boost to help get my calories up, just because I don't like eating a hunka junka food because my stomach can't handle it. They're very calorie dense but it's good for getting calories in when I don't feel like eating any more. |

I've been recovering from anorexia nervosa the past two years, since I was first admitted into treatment. I've relapsed a couple of times, though I haven't been as low weight-wise since before, but mentally I've been worse. HOWEVER, since my lowest weight, I've gained over fifteen pounds, and I have actually been doing pretty good since my last major slip a few weeks ago (lost a lot of weight), and I'm continuing to gain weight and better my disordered mentality. |

Favorite store bought: I guess I'd have to say Arctic Zero because I haven't had any other in years and I forget what they taste like Dish or cone: Dish..but maybe a waffle cone every once in a while. They used to be my weakness. Though 'weakness' is a bad word. Guilty pleasure? Favorite sundae type: Birthday cake/cake batter Banana split toppings: Hot fudge, whipped cream, strawberries, nuts, one scoop strawberry ice cream, one scoop chocolate ice cream

Alright, it's kind of like a sandwich, but you can make fill a pita with some hummus, beans, and some veggies. Or sometimes I cook some kind of protein (veggie patty, fish, tofu, etc) and then cut up a sweet potato into chips and just microwave them. |

Ugh I second white bread. I've grown up with wheat and white bread just tastes terrible to me. I also don't like beets. And ricotta and blue cheese are not my friends. |

I am embarrassed to say that I am pretty addicted to Tumblr. I am not Tumblr-famous (I'm such a weirdo and can get off-track with my ED recovery) but I know one person that is that used to be on here but abandoned it last year or early this year. |

I know you said low in fat, but avocado and nuts are calorie dense and have HEALTHY fats; fats you need to function properly, and the two foods mentioned above taste good as well :) Well, I guess that's subjective, but generally people seem to like avocados and nuts. |

High sodium anything sucks 'cause it physically makes me feel like crap. I don't like all that sweetened dried fruit, those 100 calorie packs can go to someone who will appreciate them more, same with meat. Really weird flavors of gum are weird. Like, cheesecake flavored gum? Really? Chocolate lollipops taste weird. This is more of a childhood thing, but still. Oh, and the worst I've ever heard of is cheese whizz. That cheese stuff that comes out of a can like whipped cream? That stuff would show up in nightmares. |

It's common for the weight to go to one area during the initial stages of weight gain. As time goes on (it might take weeks, it might take months) the weight WILL redistribute across your body and your proportions will straighten out to look just fine. Don't worry. |
