| Bio | Started out at 158 in January '09. I'm 131 as of 6/10/09. I was thin until I had kids(4) and generally had the poor eating habits of naturally skinny people. When my metabolism slowed after kids-bam!-I got chunky. I never stuck with a diet for more than a week or two and I always crash-dieted. Luckily, most of the time I never really tried at all so I didn't get much weight rebound. That would have been worse, I'm sure. I'll be 40 next year and I'm feeling less immortal- time to get my sh#t together. This is the longest I've ever "dieted" and the best results I've ever gotten. I think of this as my new lifestyle and believe I should be able to maintain nicely once I've met my goal weight of 115 (I'm a shorty). "Slow and steady wins the race". |
