Good question tantan321!

My idea size is a 7 or 8 US. That would put me somewhere around 130lbs at 5' 4".

In high school I got down to a size 4/5 and weighed only 115lbs...that was a "gross" weight for me. I was way to skinny and barely ate anything at all. I have decided that curves are beautiful and I never want to lose them again...just shrink them a little, lol. My hubby agrees...keep the curves. :)

@Claire- Yes we are in 2 other groups together I think. We must be really determined, huh? lol

@lavalocks- I've wanted to start a garden for so long. We finally got some top soil hauled in last summer. Our house was basically sitting on solid clay before. Hopefully I will be able to start one up shortly. :)

@Denise- I sit at a desk all day too. I remember my first job back about 10 years ago. I worked at Wal-Mart and I was constantly on the go and got plently of exercise. Now I only get up for potty breaks and to get things off the printer. Ughh that means I have to work extra hard when I work out.

Well I'm a pound up today but it has been TTOM for me so I'm not stressing over one little pound. I did give myself a touch of a calorie break today. I just ate a KFC famous bowl for lunch. MMMM that's about 800 calories, lol. Ah well tonight is my work out night so I will burn it off. Have a great weekend everyone!

I've been losing really fast again so yesterday I cut my deficit down to only a little over 200 calories. I think maybe I'm burnung more calories on the treadmill than what the screen says. I've been adding around 300 calories to my day when I do the treadmill but I may need to add a touch more. I'm super happy to be in the 160's though!!!!

I just realized that I forgot to post Friday. We had some super bad weather in Kentucky on Friday so it slipped my mind. I did weigh that morning so here is my post.

@naija- You should read up on Couch to 5k if you haven't already heard of it. I was NEVER a runner before but now I really enjoy it. Maybe that will motivate you to get back into it doing what you once loved. Good luck!

Lots of sweat this week= another pound. Couch to 5k has almost killed me this past week. The intervals have really increased. I'm up to a 20 minute jog with no in between breaks. Yayy!!! Good job to everyone!

Hi my name is Ashley and I'm new to the group. I'm very excited to be a part of the Wagon Jumpers. I'm 25 and I was born and raised in Kentucky. I live way out in the country where we lead pretty simple lives. I have a wonderful husband and a 5 year old little boy. We love the outdoors and spend most of our time fishing, hunting, camping, swimming, etc. When I have "me" time I usually sit down with a skein of yarn and crochet. Aside from Church and family, crocheting is a huge passion of mine.

I joined CC last July and hope to always remain a part of the site, even if I reach all of my goals. Initially I joined CC just to lose weight. Slowly I've directed my goals from just losing weight to also becoming healthy and more fit. I have lost close to 20lbs to date, which is great news for my hernia and of course my health in general. But even more importantly I went from smoking over a pack of cigarettes a day to now none. It has been well over 6 months since I picked up a cigarette. I feel like I've been given a brand new set of lungs. My hubby got me a treadmill for our anniversary back in January. I had started the couch to 5k program once and quit due to the weather outside. Since getting the treadmill I started the program again and haven't looked back. Last night I did week 5 run 3 which consisted of a 20 minute jog with no walking intervals in between. I would never have thought my body or my mind could go that long. I finished it with my legs throbbing but I wasn't out of breath...now that is a true miracle. I will never smoke another cigarette!

Weekly Topic: There are times when I lose all hope and motivation. There are days I wake up and I can't wait until it's time to get on the treadmill. Then there are other days i wake up and I just don't care what goes in my mouth or how much exercise my heart gets for the day. When I get in a slump I try to stay out of the kitchen. I've always been a binger. So when I lose motivation, if I let myself go into the kitchen when I'm not hungry, I know I will end up stuffing myself full of calories that my body doesn't need.

Also I log everything I eat. I used to not log on the days I wanted to have a cheat day. Now I've completly changed my way of thinking. First I don't have any "cheat" days. I've decided that there should never be a reason for me to eat more calories than what I burn. Now my idea of a cheat day is simply eating all of the calories I've burned, not more. So instead of having a deficit every day, I throw in some maintenance days. And even if I slip up and eat more than I consumed...I still log. I hate seeing the bar turn red on the analysis page. But by logging, it helps me gain back momentum to see more green bars every day.

I went up just a touch more but I'm still not upset over it. I have logged every bite that has went in my mouth this week and I've had a great week. I'm on week 4 of the couch to 5k and it has really pushed me. So hopefully by Monday the little pound I've gained will be gone. Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm doing the Couch to 5K plan which I absolutely love. Each week the intervals of running increase. I'm currently on week 4.

I've notcied that when I give myself a good rest in between I don't lag as much. Also sleep patterns tend to change how well I perform. If I'm extremely tired my speed really slows down and I seem to get winded so much easier. I think it's because when you're tired your jog isn't as smooth so you actually end up exerting more energy than you need to. When I've rested a day and really slept well the night before I'm able to up my speed because I feel good and energetic. Also my jog is so much smoother and I'm able to find a good steady breathing pattern.

The biggest thing for me is pacing myself. My jogging intervals increase weekly. So on that first weekly increase, I really slow down and take my time. By the end of each week I feel like I can fly because my body grows used to it. Just listen to your body. Push yourself, of course, but not so hard that you feel killed over, lol. :)

Oh and here's a great tip from my Couch to 5K podcast. When you run/jog, imagine running along side a hedge. There is a person on the other side. This person can only see the top of your head. They shouldn't be able to tell whether you're running or walking. Another words try to take all the "bounce" out of your jog. The bounciness just wastes alot of energy and doesn't really add to the calorie burn.

I remember the last challenge this group had I was struggling so bad. I missed weigh ins left and right because I was so ashamed to weigh in. I ended up dropping out of the challenge and gaining back almost half of the weight I worked so hard to get off last fall. Now to this challenge and I'm just zooming through the pounds. I'm using my treadmill 3-4 times a week and I'm actually logging EVERYTHING I eat. I wish I knew the difference in my motivation between this challenge and the last. Maybe it's because of the new treadmill? It's a cheap one but I LOVE it. I hope to hang on to this groove I've found forever. I'm really starting to feel good.

I'm not thrilled with this number at all. I don't think I've actually gained 2lbs in one weekend. I believe I'm retaining water due to all the bad food I ate. My sister got married over the weekend and we went out of state for the wedding. So I went over my calories and I ate out the entire time. Ughhh. I'm getting back on track today. :)

@jt4bama- Great job getting the water weight off. You will catch back up. Vacations are fun but they have a way of making us pay, lol.

@tantan321- Yes slow is good. I've also been down that road where I starved myself to lose weight. Sometimes it does seem like it's taking forever this way but I physically feel better when I lose the healthy way. We will get there slowly but surely!

Well I did horrible Saturday but it was special circumstances so I decided to forgive myself. I went over 700 calories!!! But if I dwell on it, I will just keep cheating. I did get right back to eating healthy on Sunday. Have a great week everyone!

I lost the water weight from TTOM and I lost some real weight. YAYY!! Good job everyone. Let's all try to be good over the weekend. I'm having a girl's day out on Saturday so I really have to focus big time!

This same thing happened to me years ago. I had two, 3 month injections and I spotted every single day for 6 full months. It was horrible! They said it was normal as long as it was spotting and not an actual full period. They didn't offer me anything to stop it so I didn't go back for another shot of course, lol. You should go ahead and call in to your doc and let them know. More than likely they will tell you it's fine but better safe than sorry. :)

I'm up a pound but it TTOM so it's okay and I'm not going to worry about it. I know my weight will be back down by the end of the week.

@rrhernshe- It's good to log even if you are up a little. The moment I choose not to log because of a gain I give up. So good for you! :)
