Usually if you get shingles on your face it will be close to your temple and it is VERY PAINFUL. I work for an ophthalmogist and we see alot of shingles patients.

So it sounds like it is something else.

I have a two interracial children. My son is hispanic and white and my daughter is black and white. My son has never had problem. Probably because no one would even know he is mixed unless they see me because he looks completely hispanic. My daughter usually doesn't have problems. The other day she told me "mom, I mixed black and white so I'm different." I told her no she is her own person I and beautiful one at that. And she has never mentioned another thing about it.

Also I was raised by parents that were born in the 30's and 40's in deep south Alabama and they have never had a problem with the races of my ex husband or ex boyfriend.

But the hair on the other hand is another story. LOL We do alot of braids.

^^^that is soo sweet. You have a special son that he would go through all that trouble for his little brother.

My son's ROTC program tried that one year. It was a failure. So now they just sell pizza slices and chic fil a sandwiches during lunch. That has worked out great but he is in high school. I'm sure they couldn't do that in elementary.

My daughter's cheerleading does candle selling if you can'tafford the fees you get $5.00 for every candle sold. I just paid her fees but I know alot of people who sell the candles. They aren't cheap either.

In Texas if your top 10% of your class your automatically admitted for state universities if you come from an accredited high school. So technically your scores don't matter but u still have to take it for your application to be complete.

My son just got admitted to Texas A&M because of this rule. Actually he would have been admitted anyway because his scores were high enough but at least we didn't have to wait for the admission process.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Oscar is adapting just great. He is eating the dry food that is soaked in water to make it soft. He seems to like it. He eats the replacement milk too. It makes me feel so much better to see him it so I know he will get his nutrition.

I mentioned that to them also and they said he is too old for that. They said he should be just fine if I feed him like suggested.

The heating pad is a good idea. I have her in a laundry basket with blanket but I still feel like she is cold. Not to mention he can climb out of the basket already.

My daughter named him Oscar. First she said "boy" and I was said not lets think of something else. So Oscar it is.

That better than the fish we have his name is Fluffy the fish. LOL

Thanks nomo and adolphs that helps alot. I find all these different websites but those look good. I was reading that I can start intraducing food at 4 weeks just take luke warm water and dry food and let it get soft.

I am going to call a vet and ask them also. I just know there is alot of cat owners on here and I knew I could get alot of advice.
