That's what I told my husband. I think we should get a lawyer and get custody. But my husband feels like he doesn't have a right to say anything because his son has always lived with his mother and he just gets him some weekends and in the summer. They were never married it was just a fling while my husband has always been there to support his son he feels like he doesn't have much say in how he is raised. |

Sorry I need to clarify. My stepson is 13 and his sister is 7. But I still think it is too young for him to watch her all day. What if something happens top her while he is watching her? He will never forgive himself. Supposedly their mother is working near by and will pop in a few time to check on them but I don't think that will happen. |

I agree with hk. My stepson started online school this year and my husband and I are not happy about it. He is going to do online school along with his 7yo sister. Their mother works during the day. Who is going to make sure these kids do their work? No one. And he is already socially awkward and rather stay at home than go somewhere. I told my husband he needs to put a stop to it but he said he will give her a month and if he doesn't get some kind of proof that he is doing his work he is going to insist that he go back to school.

We are going thru this right now with my 13yo step son. His mom is enrolling him and his 6yo sister in online school. When we asked why she told us that she could teach him better. Well when we asked him if he wanted to be home schooled he said "No but my mom says it will save her money on gas." And he will be home all day long with his 6yo sister both of them trying to learn something. THIS IS A DISASTER. I told my husband he needs to do something about it. But will see if he actually does. She has full custody and he just has visitation so he feels like he doesn't have a say.

I don't know how many competed but I think it was quite a few because his water aerobics class was there and there is at least 15 in there. Anyways I am still very proud of him even if he would have been the only one in his age group! |

My dad has came along way. Over a year ago he was completely sedentary and really overweight. When he decided to have the surgery he really changed his way of thinking. He eats right and workouts 4-5 times a week. I am so proud of him. Now I know that I will have him in my life for alot longer. Now I just need to take his suggestions and get my butt off the couch! |

I know he didn't even tell me he was doing it. I would have went down there and routed for him. He told me after the fact. He has the first place ribbon and everything. At first he told just told me that he came in first and I was like no way. And then he said for his age group. |

The only reason he got a car is because he works and has alot of school commitments. I am tired of driving him everywhere. I have a 3YO and it is a pain to load her up into the car and drive him everywhere. I just paid cash for a car nothing fancy just something to get around in. He suprised me last night I didn't tell him to call or anything but after work he called and told me he was going to eat pizza with friends. I didn't even have to ask. I was worreid about nothing. |

He did take driving school. It's not that I don't trust his driving there is just so much that can go wrong. Anyway I talked to him about it and told him I was going to back off some as long as he tells me where he is going I am happy with that. |

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I think I need to back off. I know he will call if gets into trouble. Here in Texas the only restriction he had was he could only have one passenger the first six months of his license and he can't be out after midnight unless it is work related or school related. But he has no business being out that late anyways. Also no driving test as long as you took driver's education. Which is kinda crazy. I was thinking I am acting like my parents now. I remember when my dad told me that it wasn't me he didn't trust it was the other people he didn't trust. I almost caught myself saying that the other day. LOL |

Thanks for letting me rant. I am using it for motivation and it has helped. Everytime I go to pick up something that I shouldn't eat I just keep telling myself "Dad weighs less than you" and it works! |

We don't buy for adults in my family even me and my husband don't exchange. But the best moment was when my 3yo daughter came running in at 5am barely able to talk because Santa came. It was great. She woke me up and pulled me by the hand jumping up and down. I loved it! |

My son believed in Santa till like 10 or so at least. The kids on the block you to tell him he was not real. I told him "Just because Santa does not visit those bad kids doesn't mean he isn't real". |

Santa's present is the one without wrapping usually big. This year it is a Ariel Vanity. I have friends who put out their presents from Santa under the tree right away. So there will be presents under there weeks in advance from Santa. What fun is that? It is the best thing to see my daughter wake up on Christmas morning all suprised because some new presents are under the tree from Santa |
