Thanks for all of the replies! I made a group for anyone that wants to have a support/buddy system for vegan/vegetarian weight loss. http://caloriecount.about.com/ethical-weight- loss-g2797

I was thinking we could create weekly and daily challenges, have a forum about any problems we might have, support each other to reach our weight loss goals, give encouragement when we hit plateaus. All the usual stuff, but without getting any crap about being vegan (I've been a vegan for 4 years, so being vegan really has nothing to do with my diet-- it's my lifestyle).

HEIGHT:  5'5

CURRENT WEIGHT:  157

WEIGHT GOAL/TIME:  120-115  I'd like to reach that weight by my 19th birthday in January

AGE: 18

FAVORITE FOOD?  I love seitan, and kale, and brussels sprout,  and vegan mac and cheese (I'm in love with yeast), and artichokes, and fruit, and most things.

HOW MUCH DO YOU EXERCISE A WEEK? 6+ for at least an hour.

WHAT IS YOUR EXERCISE ROUTINE? I ride my bike 3 miles a day, and I take trapeze once a week, and I really like the beach body workout DVDs. I also try to run sometimes.

DO YOU ENJOY RUNNING?  Not at all when it's hot, but I kind of like it when it's below 80 degrees.

FURTHEST YOU HAVE RUN?  2 miles I think.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT? First of all to look better naked and be more confident-- but in the long run to be healthier and be a good example for my parents. 

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER A HARD WORKOUT?  Something that makes me sweat and struggle to breath.

HAVE YOU EVER FELT LIKE" THIS IS THE HARDEST WORKOUT I HAVE EVER DONE!" ? IF SO WHAT WAS IT? Once about 2 years ago I went on a run and was extremely sick afterwards. 

HOW MANY CALORIES DO YOU EAT A DAY? 1200-1300 

WHAT IS YOUR CALORIE DISTRIBUTION? 50% carbs 30% protein 20% fat

HAVE YOU EVER HAD ANY EATING DISORDERS?:  Nope

EVER HAD A BINGE? Yes, I used to have a sour candy weakness.

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION TO LOOSE WEIGHT/BE HEALTHY? My super healthy boyfriend.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY CELEBRITYS BODY WHO WOULD IT BE? Alice Glass, young Debbie Harry, I don't really know.

MOST FAVORITE PART OF YOUR BODY? My face and hands.


LEAST FAVORITE PART?  Belly and inner thighs

ANY TIPS?  Commit, commit, commit!
