Take walks, go on hikes. Try new activities in your area....like a climbing wall or something like that! You can always volunteer together, like Habitat for Humanity or soup kitchens! You can join a coed softball league or something like that! |

I think it depends on the people and how they deal with things! In relationships, there is no right or wrong, and it will never be the same from one relationship to the next. As long as any issues are worked out and you are both happy, then there is no reason to be fighting! |

I wouldn't go down to 1200! It's hard to find the right balance of how much of a deficit to have, but you don't want too big of a deficit. 750 is good, just remember once you get closer to maintenance weight, you'll have to have less and less of a deficit. But congrats! 7lbs is great ! |

Hmm...I've been cheated on, I've been backstabbed. I've been cheated on while being backstabbed by a friend (long story). I have stayed friends with just about everyone.
That's not to say I've not held resentment, but life's too short. We all make mistakes. However, I am no longer friends with any of those people, nor with the cheater. Although I was able to stay friends and forgive, it's impossible to forget. Which is fine, however sometimes people don't learn from their mistakes and dont become better people because of it. At the end of the day I want to surround myself with people who I can trust, so that having to hold resentment against someone who 'wronged' me isn't even an issue!

You do get cheat days or meals right? Just try to plan around that. If you go out, have the meal but then that's it for the week! |

One of the cheapest is Body Fortress at WalMart. Taste is so-so as far as powders go. That's about 100 cals for 26gs of protein. I've tried EAS, Jillian Michaels, and Optimal Nutrition....they are all about the same! |

| Weight Loss | Is My Defecit Too High? | Apr 22 2011 15:38 (UTC) |

My personal opinion is yes, it is too high for over a long period of time. I think a couple of days here and there are ok, but I wouldn't do it for months on end. There are a few reasons, but MY biggest reason for this belief is when you are DONE restricting calories. I know that body competitors do have longer periods of time with high deficits; but they tend to have big bounce back in weight after they are 'off diet' or off season. I'd shoot more for the 500 range on average. Which is cool; you can eat more! haha So maybe on the days you don't exercise you eat a little less, but the days you are exercising you want a smaller deficit. But congrats on your weightloss so far!! |

haha i bought the turbofire greatest HIITS cuz I have all the turbojams...and it kicked my butt soooo bad! I guess I have to say I like the regular turbo jams better! My fave is the fat burner one, thats only like 30 mins. Although, I've watched it so many times that I tend to say what she says even if I have the music up :) |

It seems like a really good program. I have the TurboJams stuff at home (only do them when I can't get cardio in at the gym) and like them. I'm actually doing P90X with my sis right now (same company) for fun, but I ALMOST bought it. I ended up buying the TurboFire Greatest HIITS and it kicked my butt! :) The only advice I have for it is to make sure you follow the eating plans as well (or some version of it), otherwise you most likely won't see the results you are looking for. It sucks, but eating is a HUGE part of it!! haha
Good luck! |

I totally agree with the above! Sounds like you are right on track. I tend to do splits when lifting, too, but I like getting compound exercises in to the workout, too. |

Yea that's about right! The time on/off might be a little long though. If it's true HIIT you really shouldn't be ABLE to do more than 6-10 times. You can always crank it up to 8.5 or 9 and do 45 secs on and 45off (when I do this I just jump to the sides and leave the treadmill going at the 9). You can switch it up with plyos (jumping jacks, mountain climbers, etc). You jump/whatever for 30 secs, rest for 30 secs. It's still hiit, just not running! But any kind of interval training is good. Just make sure the food intake is where it should be. And maybe think about weight training to really round things off!
Good luck! |

As always, I agree with melkor!
If you aren't feeding the muscles what they need, it'll be almost impossible to be 'super ripped' at 190. You def need to be feeding your body enough. You can up your calories (adding in other aspects of the meal plans) and still see great results.... But good luck! |

Congrats on quitting! That must have been hard! I haven't been able to quit yet. But I WAS able to lose 40lbs! that is a cake walk compared to quitting! If it seems daunting, then start small. I started out just by walking in place in my living room while watching tv. Or doing situps or pushups. Then eventually I joined a gym, went 3xs a week. Now I go about 4-5 times a week, an hour at a time. It's not so much if you sort of sneak it in there! haha Or if doing it AFTER work is too hard, do something in the morning. Even if it just getting up 20 mins early and doing something quick in your living room. You can get dumbells or resistance bands for easy workouts! Same with eating. I changed just little things at a time at first, like NOT getting extra mayo, then changing the mayo to light, then switching to mustard instead. Things like that! What motivated you to quit smoking? Your health! Same goes for being a healthy weight! |

Yea but the black/white thing at weddings does have purpose. Black: is generally associated with funerals and somber events....and some people think of it as a 'protest' to it. (not me, just saying!) White: the bride wears white and no one can overshadow the bride. But, these days so many brides wear other colors than white and/or have bridesmaids wearing black dresses. I guess I personally don't/wouldn't wear black because I do associate it a bit with funerals, but I don't think there is anything wrong with it! In any case, have a great time at the wedding! |
