If you are trying to lose weight then it is likely that you will lose muscle along with it. In my experience having a higher protein intake is important to retain current muscle while losing weight. It is also important to use your muscles to keep from losing them. I like more of my protein from natural sources as many others have posted, and after I lift I enjoy my whey. |

1 kg = roughly 2.205 lbs you weigh 165.3lbs I am guessing you are 20 based only on you name. You want to loose 15kg (33 lbs) to bring you to 65 kg. For a female at your height, age, and weight you have a BMR of 1560 calories a day. Eating that daily would cause noticeable weight loss. This will not be over night and you should try for 1-1.5 lbs (0.45-0.68 kg) a week. Depending on your lifestyle you may need to adjust your intake.
*Example* Based on the Harris Benedict formula: If you were lightly active say working out 3 times a week your calorie need would increase by a multiple of about 1.4. 1560*1.4= 2180 if you continued to consume 1560 calories a day you would have a deficit of 625. This would give you a weekly deficit of 4320 calories the equivalent of 1.25 lbs. 33 lbs desired to be lost which based on this sole calculation would be about 26- 27 weeks.
Keep in mind that as you weight drops, so does you BMR and this calculation will need to be reconsidered.
