About
| Bio | I love lots of activities including horsebackriding, biking, jogging (some, but mostly for exercise if I have to), animals, and above all my Christian faith. I also try to strengthen my relationships with my friends, as I am a social person but always can work on that area. My best friend in the world lives in North Carolina, unfortunately, but we talk on the phone and visit each other once a year. My family is very kind, loving, and generous. I have parents and a 14 year old sister who is taller than me but weighs a bit less. We are about the same size so there isn't much competition, but it is hard having gained so much weight from last summer, so it feels like a competition (to me) sometimes to lose it. I am trying to get back my last-summer weight of 130. Right now I weigh about 155, and at Christmas I was 150 (my highest weight ever). At May I was 140 for Prom. Since last summer my weight has fluctuated ALOT but THIS summer it got to my ultimate hightest, 158. I've been working on trying to get rid of (or decrease) binge/emotional eating, as that is what is really hurting me. I am a Christian and know I need to fully rely on God for everything, including food and not using it to deal with emotions, but like many things in life it is very hard. I LOVE food (moreso recently?) and especially can fall back on Reese's Peanut Butter cups, any type of chocolate, ice-cream, pop-tarts, and cookie dough (and much more) when I'm not doing "good." I'm also trying to work on my all-or-nothing thinking and just eating what I want IN MODERATION without being so concerned about the scale. My rough goal, however, is to weigh about 127/129 by the end of the school year (too lofty of a goal?). Any support would be really appreciated? I have been through alot, and even though I am not considered 'obese' or maybe even 'overweight' (I'm 5'6" and average looking), I truthfully have dealt with ALOT and even talked to a counselor 5 times. I'm not trying to make my situation seem pitiful or anything (!) but just saying that I'm sure -whatever you throw at me- I can empathize with, and don't underestimate me or anything. Hope to hear from you! Thanks! |
