i'm done with my first week (tomorrow is my recovery day)... and it was intense! i surprisingly got through it better than i thought i would, but i was definitely sore. i was so happy to reach the cardio recovery day. calves and obliques are hurting the most. i went out last night (and only had one drink, yay me) and it was hard to dance at the bar... i feel great though! i look forward to weighing myself on tuesday morning, i've been eating fairly well so i'm hoping for some changes. how's everyone else doing? who prefers the morning to evenings to work-out? i definitely like to do it first thing in the morning to get it out of the way. |

Same here. I start to binge when I have that feeling of I already screwed up my diet for the day (when in reality it probably didn't affect anything at all) but that little overeating or "bad" food that I ate just brings me in this state of mind that I've failed. And instead of stopping to help myself, I start to eat uncontrollably, just grabbing anything even though I don't want it all, its definitely a pull feeling. I've learned though it also can do a lot with the type of food you're eating. In my dorm room I would have granola bars, cereal, 100 cal snacks and before I knew it the whole box was gone. Processed sugars can be one of that factors to overeating because it increases the production of adrenaline making you more and more hungry. Its better for me to just keep these things out of sight. so maybe just watch what you're eating and start on foods that fill you up more. |
