The main issue I had with the book is that it insinuates that a vegan lifestyle is the ONLY healthy lifestyle and the only way to lose weight. Consuming meat and dairy products can be healthy for you. I've lost 30 lbs. doing so. It implies that vegan lifestyle=being skinny. Yet I know a ggod number of vegans that are overweight. The book is extremely misleading and is filled with a lot of misinformation. |

It makes me laugh when people use the argument, "humans are the only animals that......." Humans are so drastically different than almost all other species in so many ways. It's absolutely ridiculous to compare our diet with the diet of other animals. |

I have lost 30 lbs. since January. I started out as a 38DDD, I am now a 36C/D. My husband said that I need to stop losing weight because my boobs are shrinking too much. I told him when he helps to lug them around them he can have a say LOL. |

This. It really depends on you and your eating habits. For me, eating a big breakfast doesn't curb my hunger later in the day like it does for some people. I do better when I eat 200-300 calories every few hours. Do what works best for you. |

As to the OP, I also haven't fallen in love with exercising yet. I've been hitting the gym since January. I figured by now I would have reached the point of truly enjoying it. The results I have seen are what drive me back everyday. In addition to it being some relaxing "me" time if that makes any sense. I'm a stay at home mom to two small children. So after dinner I get to run out the door to the gym while my husband cleans up and puts the kids to bed. I get to unwind to some music and do something that is healthy for my mind and body. |

Wow, v-man this is a surprise to me! You speak so enthusiastically about exercise/fitness, I would have NEVER believed this to be the case. I figured you loved working out. I mean you do HIIT in the form of wind sprints, total hell, in my opinion. Anyway, rock on. Glad to hear that even the fittest sometimes don't actually enjoy the process. |

I've read the book and it's terrible. It's filled with a ton of false information. And insinuating that eating dairy and meat makes you fat is absolutely absurd. |

I drink around 96 oz of water throughout the day and then another 20 oz when I am at the gym. What has allowed me to drink so much is keeping a 20 oz water bottle full on the counter with an 8 oz glass next to it. About once an hour I fill the glass and chug all 8 oz at once. By the end of the I have had 96 oz. But stay close to a bathroom lol. |
