Besides eggs, what is a good, lo-cal source of protein that I could eat in the morning?
I need to increase my daily protein intake and decrease carbs.
Thanks all!

turkey bacon

I'll try it - thanks!
cottage cheese
non-fat or low-fat cottage cheese.  The kind I have is 70 cals per 1/2 cup and 13g of protein.
Kashi GO LEAN Crunch!
Mmmmmmmm......turkey bacon......uhuhuhuhuhuh............drool..... ...

I need to get me some of that!
So, Kashi go lean crunch - sounds ok - is it tasty??
I did some adding up and you could have a breakfast burrito.,  try scrambling 2 eggs no milk or oil and a serving of turkey bacon or sausage some hot sauce and wrap it all up in a tortilla.  It comes out to about 300 calories with 20g of protein and 13.4g of carbs with 7 of those being dietary fiber which if I rmemeber correctly you can subtract when you are on a low carb diet so maybe it still counts here. Anyway now I am hungary and I already ate a hot cheese cracker pack for breakfast....your killing me ...lol
regular kashi golean is kinda bland, but not too bad.  kashi golean crunch is very tasty and delicious...but higher in cals and carbs, but lower in protein and fiber than the regular golean.  i recommend the golean...tons of fiber, tons of protein, and isn't too bad :)  the crunch though?  save that as a treat breakfast!
TY finewine.

I'll get some - and I love the burrito idea Shanna!

:0)
Dont forget the protein shakes. they are yummy. and if you put a banana in the kashi go lean cereal it's so good. :)
Canadian bacon.  Low fat, low carb, low calorie, high protein.  Throw about 3-5 slices in the microwave for about 30 seconds and you're good!
Be careful with the burrito idea....I have yet to find a torilla with less than 180 calories.  I wish I could....I love them, but by the time you add in the ingredients to fill it, I find it's not very filling for the number of calories I get.
i'm a huge fan of fat free cottage cheese mixed with pretty much anything...
I know alot of peeps around here make a protein shake smoothie. Something like that could make a decent breakfast.
newdock, try Joseph's lavash breads.  It's like a cross between a pita bread and a tortilla.  One whole lavash is about 1 ft square, and 100 cals, high protein low carb.  You really only need half of one at a time, which is only 50 cals.
have a glass of Silk Vanilla Soy Milk with those eggs...
La Tortilla Factory makes a great tortilla with 50 calories or a larger one that has 80 calories, I think.  And they are loaded with fiber!  I also just bought some at Wal-Mart that are under 100 calories and high in fiber, but I can't remember the brand!
La Tortilla Factory tortillas are awesome! 50 calories and something insane like 8 grams of fiber in each small one. I have no use for the bigger ones, the small ones are perfect for wraps.
mission tortillas also makes a high fiber, low calorie tortilla. for
the big 10" tortilla, it's 200 calories with 21 grams of fiber. i tend
to use two of the 6" tortillas instead. they're 80 calories each with 8
grams of fiber in each one. they're great for making little wraps.
