Can someone please recconmend some high protein foods? The easier the better. No beef or pork please, as it is expensive and low quality here.

A few high protein foods are:

  • Peanut butter - 4g per tbsp
  • Yogourt - 11-12g per cup
  • Cheese (harder cheese has more) - 6-10g per oz
  • Poultry - 30g per chicken breast
  • Fish - 6g per oz
  • Eggs - 6g for a large egg
  • Nuts - 7-9g per 1/4 cup
  • Seeds - varies greatly, but pumpkin seeds are the best
  • Legumes (Beans) - 7-10g per 1/2 cup
  • Tofu - 20g per 1/2 cup
  • Soy Milk - 6-10g per cup
A couple more: Soy (or whey) protein shakes Cottage cheese

Beans: chick peas or garbanzo
