so i bought some soy protein powder the other day, because i'm a student and i don't eat much meat. (I'm scared of the meat in the school cafeteria and i dont have time to cook my own.) So I thought I could just...ya know...add it to stuff and get some extra protein....YUCK wrong-O. EEWW....it's so disgusting. Any suggestions what I could do with this stuff to cover the taste/texture?? I don't have a blender so shakes are kinda out of the question...

personally I think the whey protein powder tastes better. I think I have seen some posts about good tasting soy ones though. Try using the search to find soy powders.
i also have the vanilla whey protein, but it's pretty good mixed with oatmeal
never tried to soy, so *shrug* not sure if it will work also...
good luck! :)

I have some chocolate whey protein powder. It is delicious. I don't have a blender either, so I just stir one scoop into a cup of milk with a spoon. Works fine. By the way, the milk itself adds another 8 grams of protein to the thing making it even better.
Soy protein is great w/ oatmeal because it is a satisfying meal.
Trader Joes has a good brand of whey protein for women called Aria. Only 80 cal. 1g/fat, 3 carbs, 1gr sugar, 400mcg of folic acid...and other minerals in it too. It mixes well - you could put it in a shaker for mixing. I like the vanilla kind.
