I'm looking for a protein shake mix, however I have an allergy to milk/ lactose in ALL its forms. Not just a stomach ache or gas, but throat swelling. I've noticed that most shake mixes contain whey or milk protein or fat. Any suggestions?
Try Metagenics UltraMeal Soy. It is used in medical settings. You have to order it online, just google it. I like the chocolate and add a little peanut butter in it.
If you want to just eat only the shakes (5-7 per day) and no food, supplement this with a few almonds, a few olives and fish oil supplement everyday. Two weeks on this plan and I lost weight- and I never lose weight from dieting.
You may also consider fruit smoothies with soy or coconut yogurt (becoming more common in supermarkets).
