Protein shakes after HIIT?

When lifting and doing HIIT on alternate days, do you follow HIIT with a protein shake?

I do. I have a protein shake after every workout, regardless of the type (lifting, HIIT, muscle endurance, high impact cardio, and even running).  My shake is simply a cup of skim milk with 1 scoop of whey protein powder, so it's only 145 kcal. 22 g protein, 1 g fat, 13 g carbs

OK thanks. I'm using muscle milk light - 20 g protein, 160 cal.
