What are you proud of?

Quote  |  Reply

I'm really proud of myself because I've lost 20 pounds since January, and can now wear a US size 10 instead of a size 12 or 14. I want to lose more, but even losing this much has done wonders for my self-esteem. Smile

So, what are you proud of?

I'm proud of myself for having just completed 6 university exams, and doing very well on each and every one. I got a 90% on a short story I wrote about a little boy's anxiety over speech presentation titled "Theodore Finnegan's Great Oration", and a 93% on my Literature afther the 17th Century exam. I worked hard, and it paid off. I'm celebrating today- by travellin' the long journey back to my home town.

I have to say, I'm also a little proud of everyone else who has posted sharing their successes. We Calorie Count members make a great team!

I am proud of myself for starting CC and for losing 9 pounds in 3 weeks (for my stats that pretty good).

I am SOOooo proud of myself for getting into the 11 stones, I have never done this before without being on a liquid diet.

I am proud that I quit smoking 8 months ago, and not relapsed.

I am proud that I have revised for my uni exams for 4 hours yesterday and another 4 hours today.

I am proud that I have a lovely bf of 3 years.

I am proud of my dad overcoming cancer ... I love my family so much.

I am proud of myself for never failing ANYTHING.

That is very exciting losing that much weight.  Like yourself, I have a whole wardrobe waiting for me to wear once I drop more weight.

I haven't gotten there and it has only been one week since I made the decision to do this, but I've already dropped from 285 to 280.  It's a solid drop too, not a dehydrated fasting drop either.  I don't see a noticable difference with my pants fitting better or my XL shirts fitting without looking like a belly shirt, but I'm proud that I've not cheated or faltered yet.

Being able to continue to exercise and eat as planned for over a week is what I am proud of so far.  I will keep this up and I know that I iwll see big results soon, so I'm just excited to see what will happen.

I'm proud that I was able to say "no thank you" to the office donuts this morning.  I've changed my eating plan two weeks ago and saw some immediate results -- now comes the slow down.  I want to be proud of every accomplishment, no matter how small.

I'm proud that my fiance and I went out and bought bikes and did a 27 mile bike ride this weekend. We would normally eat and veg out but we took the initiative to get going and workout together which is a first for us. Hopefully more fun to come!

Not quite as serious of an accomplishment, but I am proud that I have been able to do some form of exercise every day, 60 minutes a day, for a whole week. I haven't stepped in a gym in about 10 years. Big hurdle for me! Smile

I am proud that I lost 60lbs in 11 weeks a few years ago.

Not so proud that I gained 50lbs back and 50lbs more on top of that since I got pregnant!

100lbs total.. yikes!

I am proud that I've lost 42 pounds in 5 months time. I am proud that I stuck with it. I am proud that I don't have to be embarassed to be seen anymore and everyone thinking how fat I am. I am proud that I am to the point I *like* to work out and not see it as a chore. I am proud that I am sticking with it. I am proud that I have to buy new clothes since my other ones are so big (bittersweet though because I absolutely hate spending money).

I am really proud that I have lost half a stone (7lbs) in 3 weeks.  I have only been on a diet for 3 weeks and am already ahead of my goals.

Just hope I can keep it up!!!Innocent

I am really proud that I have managed to lose 8 lb over the last six weeks. Not very fast, but I was actually not aiming for fast. I have been working my butt off at changing my eating habits and its working slowly but steadily.

I am proud that I have been logging every day.

I'm proud for making my Varsity lacrosse team. (I've only played lacrosse for two months!)

I'm proud for eating a diet low in saturated fat.

I'm proud for drinking 8 or more cups of water a day.

I'm VERY proud that I just finished my very first 10km race and completed it in under 1 hour!

YAY! GO ME!

I'm also very proud of the nap I'm about to have - I'm zonked!

WOW jef9up! Way to go!

I'm proud that I haven't binged/purged in over two weeks, and that I am enjoying and embracing a healthier lifestyle.

I'm proud that I can make people laugh nowadays :)

Congrat's on losing the 20 pounds!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyy!!!

I'm proud that I have lost 7 pounds so far, even though I have backslided a bit.  This is really tough, but I'm trying hard!

WOW............THAT IS AWESOME!  CONGRATULATIONS......KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I'm proud of myself for taking steps in the right direction towards a healthier life! I have about 10 lbs to lose and I'd like to be at my goal weight by August (I have a wedding to go to). Wish me luck!

I'm proud that I had my first "Did you lose weight?" compliment this morning from colleagues. I have only just started. i lose weight really slowly, and I do watch what I eat and excercise. Two people telling me I look slimmer is such a motivation!

Congrats on your great job! keep up the good work!

I am proud that I have finally had enough of carrying around an extra person with me every day and decided to "DO" the work to get that person off my back! I am 31lbs lighter today and my BMI is down considerably since the beginning of March so I am thrilled to say I am on my way to the body I want.
