hey guys.. i went shopping last night and found the BEST stuff. Jell-o now makes snack packs of pudding made with splenda.  I can't eat anything with aspertame in it and i don't want/need the sugar so i thought i'd never have pudding again (and i love the stuff) and there it was.. in vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and double chocolate.. and the best thing is that they are only 60 calories a container!!!  :)  oh.. and i had the double chocolate one today and YUM.. no aspertame aftertaste.. tasted just like yummy chocolate pudding.. did i mention i love pudding? haha

**dances for joy**

Thanks obsidyan! I love pudding too. I'll have to go pick some up!
I cook my own pudding - Jello Sugar Free Cook 'n Serve.  It's made with splenda too.  I like to make a batch, divided it up into four servings and have one serving while it's still warm to dip strawberries in.
where did you find cook and serve with splenda???? i look every time i go to the store and it's always the stuff with aspertame!
Ive lived on HUnts no added sugar..and at only 60 cals and $2.97 for 12 they've saved my diet more than once..
Another great desert or snack is diet Jello topped with a super low calorie Vanilla yogurt.  There are so many flavors of jello that it never gets boring.
yeah.. i can't eat jello either.. they don't have a splenda version yet.. no brand does.. aspertame really throws my body for a loop. just a few things with it in there and one of my joints (usually in my upper body, shoulder, elbow, wrist) feels like there's a broken bone in it.. i never knew what caused this until my dad found out he was super sensitive to it too (his leg joints bothered him) and he cut out aspertame on doctors orders, so i tried that and it was wonderful.. i hadn't had a period of time for a while where i didn't have pain somewhere.. so watch out for that stuff!
Hey Ob -

I've got a recipe at home (working now, can't you tell?) for make-your-own jello - buy unflavored gelatin powder and add cranberry juice and the sweetner of choice, and fruit, etc...

That might work for you.
omg.. i think you are me sometimes.. i just heard about that.. but with grape juice!  i was thinking that'd be a cool way to get in a fruit serving and have jello.. do they make juice without sugar added?  hubby is pre diabetic so don't wanna make anyting with lots of sugar in it.. need to get to the store... :)
Hi again - maybe we're twins?

You can buy juice without sugar added - that's all I buy for my kids.  Stick to 100% juice.  It's still going to have high sugars, but it's the natural ones.
you can tell i don't have kids.. i didn't know they made juice with 100% juice.. i thought it all had added sugar.. yeah.. he can have the natural sugars.. it's refined that he steers clear of.. :) Thanks!
I found a fat free pudding by Hunts snack pack that is only 60 calories.  Splenda is not allowed in my house -- my husband gets super sick from it.
jello also makes a sugar free with aspertame since splenda doesn't work for you.. :)  i was just informing those who can't eat aspertame that there is a new option with splenda in it
