hi guys, i bought the no pudge brownie mix, and i made the 1 serving one, it came out kind of funny, I mixed 2 tablespoon of mix with 2 tbs of soda (regular kind, i forgotto buy yogurt). Then i put it in a bowl and covered the bowl with plastic wrap and sticked it in the microwave for 1 minute. It came out icky and not brownie- like. Can anyone help?

with the no pudge brownies you REALLY have to use yogurt (or sour cream), no substitutes! hey, at least you didn't waste your entire box!
i know, thank goodness. I'll try it with yogurt, thanks!
Yeah, the yogurt is key, but I also think it turns out better if you actually bake the brownies instead of sticking them in the microwave. They sort of work in the microwave, but they don't ever have quite the same texture or consistency.
i'm pretty sure i've done it with pure canned pumpkin too. i think only that and yogurt work, though. also, try doing it with flavored yogurts. light n fit white chocolate raspberry? yum!
I second elizadoodle on the pumpkin! I use it in brownie recipes (not necessarily no pudge) in place of butter ALL THE TIME. It's dense enough that it helps the brownies stay dense... yummy :)
i tried it with yogurt. I used the dannon fruit on the bottom yogurt but I used the top white part so there was no jam. I bought the cappucino brownie mix. um....it tasted funky. lol. it taste a little bitter and then there was the sour taste from the yogurt. hehe
i'm gonna try it with pumpkin tomorrow, i already had 2 servings today so I'm not gonna make another one but...ahhh i want another one!
