puked up antidepressant... what the heck????
ok so my stomach has been bugging me lately, i am also on an antidepressant and i took it but i ended up accidentally puking all over my floor ( :( ) about an hour later... but my question is has the medicine made it into my system?? i get really freaked out when i don't take it because of my mood the next day, and idk if it's still in me, but i'm also afraid to go take it again... anybody know what i should do? thanks!!
Call your pharmacy to ask the pharmacist. They should be able to advise you what to do.
Are these antidepressants a new medication for you? Is nausea or vomiting a side effect of them? It may be worth raising this with your doctor if the answer to either of the above is "yes".
I sort of have a similar question: I can't remember if I took my medicine today. I remember remembering to take it this morning, but I don't remember if I actually did. i counted my pills, which indicate that I didn't remember to take it. But I'm generally sensitive to anti depressants. Its 30mg of celexa. Should I just take 20mg? or wait until later? Or am I just being paranoid?

no no, i have been on these since august, i have just been having stomach problems lately.. i think it might have been the cereal i had started eating about a week and a half ago which made me feel sick (it was fiber one) so i stopped after like 4 days, but my stomach is still mad at me..lol
anyway i did end up taking another last night.. no noticeable differences today.... but if this happens again i don't want to keep taking more if i don't need to, anyone have any ideas what i should do? the pharmacist wasn't very helpful, she was just like "well it may or may not be in your system but i'd take it just incase if you're that concerned".. that makes me kind of uneasy...
What a terrific pharmacist >>; Lol. As for the tummy trouble: is it just vomiting or beyond that? A sudden increase in fibre can shock the system. Without proper fluid intake, it's usually constipation that comes as a result, but it can equally go the other way! Unpleasant, I know. D; Fiber One also contains aspartame, so if you have problems with sweeteners that might be why. Can you think of anything else that might've made you unwell you've eaten lately?
