splenda and apple pie spice in steel cut oats is yummy too.  Sometimes I put in just a touch of clove with the pumpkin, and splenda.

oh apple pie spice, i'm going to have to find that

I tried pumpkin in my oatmeal and didn't like it. Maybe I should buy pumpkin pie spice.

It's also awesome in plain yogurt with a little splenda...FF or course.

Have to try the oatmeal though!

Haha! I actually had that this moring, then I just saw this posting. It's awesome with a little Splenda Brown Sugar in it and some flax seeds.

The oatmeal I found works best with the pumpikin pie spice is quackers instant oatmeal: high fiber maple and brown sugar flavor.  add the spice before cooking with some sugar, or splenda.

I just got some applie pie spice, will let you know how it pans out tomorrow.

just wondering why you use splenda if you're trying to gain..not trying to be mean or critical but isn't that a bit counterproductive? is sugar one of your fear foods? in an earlier post you said you used splenda and pumpkin pie spice..so yeah..just wondering.

I use sugar whenever I can, I just have some leftover splenda in the room right now, so I am putting that to use.  I made it an option when I was describing how to make the oatmeal so that people could know it tastes good either way.  BTW sugar has been one of the foods that I fear...

Im kinda curious to try that, Ive never had pumpkin before. Where can you get pumpkin spice from? Im in the UK/Ireland area.

Recently Ive been adding cinnamon and raisins to my porridge, but its starting to get a bit dull.

well I was able to find both the pumpkin pie spice and the apple pie spice at walmart.  Now that you mention it though, do they have walmarts in the UK?

I tried the applie pie spice this morning with cinnamon flavored oatmeal and its pretty decent.

Nope no walmarts here, although I think someone told me once that Asda which we have is supposed to be the equivalent here, owned by the same group. Not sure about that though.

I wish we did have walmart, it sounds like a shop that just has it all!

walmart does have it all, and usually they can undercut most businesses in prices, which means huge savings for you.  But walmart is the devil, seriously, you go into the store to buy a pair of shorts and leave with baseballs, a new trash can, the shorts, etc.  The sales prices on everything leads to a lot of compulsive buying.

On top of that though, walmart is very good at destroying small and local businesses, because they can afford to undercut the little guys...  Its a very good/but bad, at the same time, store.
