Homemade pumpkin pie and whipped cream using Splenda instead of sugar.

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Pie & Whipped Cream (with Splenda)

30 oz pumpkin
24 oz evaporated milk
2 cups splenda
4 large eggs
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
2 refrigerated pie crusts
1 pint heavy whipping cream

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Pie & Whipped Cream (with Splenda)

  1. MIX 1-1/2 cups Splenda, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and Splenda-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.

  2. POUR into deep dish pie shells.

  3. BAKE in preheated 425 F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 F; bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with whipped cream before serving.

  4. To make whipped cream:

  5. WHIP very cold heavy whipping cream in cold mixing bowl.

  6. ADD remaining 1/2 cup Splenda slowly.

  7. CONTINUE whipping until cream is desired consistency.
