Pumpkin Smoothie!

Quote  |  Reply
I tried this tonight and it was DELICIOUS!

1/2 cup Libby's canned pumpkin
1 cup Almond Breeze unsweetened original
Cinnamon, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, Splenda to taste
Ice

Put it in a blender and viola!  A delicious pumpkin smoothie for a measly 80 calories!

It does sound yummy - I'm going to have to find a place that carries it!

Thanks for posting!  :-)

I will give almonds breeze a try. A good drink with very few cals.
I wanna try that!  I had a pumpkin smoothie at a smoothie place once, and it was amazing ^_^ !  Somehow, I think it had a lot more cals than this version. . .
I love pumpkin anything!  Thanks for the tip!  I might try to freeze it for a bit... like pumpkin ice cream.

Are you sure that is only 80 calories???

I'm going to try it!

wow pumpkin icecream. That would be nice. how about if I prepare jello free fat chocolate pudding and add it to the pumpkin?
OOO that sounds good!  I've been into the canned pumpkin stuff lately so I'll have to try it =D

What I've been doing with it is adding a half cup of it to a half cup of non fat cottage cheese with some splenda and pumpkin pie spices...its super good too and only like 100 cals!
Safina, if you add fat free/sugar free instant jello mix to pumpkin and fold in some Cool Whip Free it'll be like a pumpkin pie!  Yum yum!

There. Your thread is null. Have a nice day.

Um....huh?  Where did this come from?

Besides, even if you weren't starting with a false premise, your conclusion doesn't logically follow.  Not that I think your post was serious in the first place.....

I want. I want, I want, I want. o_o (I've been on a huge pumpkin kick lately ever since I discovered the magic of putting pumpkin in my oatmeal.) I bet it'd be good with some plain yogurt in there... yogurt makes everything better (including the pumpkin soup I made a few weeks ago).

And where do you guys get Almond Breeze? I only just heard about it recently, so I haven't really been looking, but is something that's available at regular grocery stores like Safeway, or would I have to go to more of a Whole Foods type of place?
