Very tastey pumpkin bread perfect for a dessert or a snack during the fall and thanksgiving.
| 1 2/3 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 1 | cup splenda |
| 1 | tsp baking soda |
| 1 1/2 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1/2 | tsp baking powder |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 1 | cup pumpkin |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1/3 | cup water |
| 1/4 | cup applesauce |
| 1/2 | cup walnuts |
- In a bowl combine 1 cup whole wheat flour, splenda, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl combine the pumpkin, eggs, water, and applesauce.
- Stir pumpkin mix into the dry ingredients. Add the walnuts.
- Pour into a large loaf pan that is sprayed. Bake at 350 for 60-65 minutes. Cool for at least 15 minutes before taking the loaf out of the pan.
- Cut into 16 slices.
