Has anyone heard of or completed this program? I am about to start it with my boyfriend and have heard great success stories from those who have used it. It's called P90X.

I too am intrested, would like to see a feedback from some one who has tried.

I'm on week 8.  It's a great program and would suggest it to anyone.  Starting off, I lost 6 lbs in the first week.  But haven't lost much since mainly because of my diet.  I can definately tell a difference in my body --i'm more tone and I have more muscles than I ever expected.

that is great to hear. i am anxious to begin! mind sharing any tips or complaints you might have?

Search the forums for the topic Any women starting p90x?. It's an ongoing thread that several women are posting to. There is also a men's thread for P90X.

Good luck!

great thanks!!!

Hey,

I tried the P90X once and really liked the burn that I got from it. I was not able to stick to it becuase of time and space limitations.  I thought it was fun and my husband liked it too.  I am thinking of trying it again. Let me know if you like it and good luck.!!

I was wondering what the diet was like. I have to DVD's but not the diet book because we borrowed the disks from a friend and he had lost the diet book.  Send me a reply if you get the time.

Thanks so much and congrats on the lost weight !!

I've done this (I'm a woman haha) for 2 weeks, with the diet, and lost 2 lbs a week, which is really good b/c i started at about 115lbs and ended up at 111 lbs (5'2, i was 18 when i did it). i am a runner so i supplemented the workouts with runs about 4/5 days a week, between 3-5 miles. Anyways, i had a hard time sticking to diet, i found i didnt really need to as long as i watch my portions (i like to eat yummy things for dinner, like my mom's pasta meals and pizza!) so that's why i stopped. but my dad did it and completed it. I think he lost about 20-30 lbs, and he is a runner and lifts so he was pretty fit to begin with, but it really shaved off the extra fat! good luck its a great program! my family and i make jokes about Tony, the guy who runs the videos, he's obnoxious and but its funny...haha i sound like a dork.

me and my husband are going to start next week,we just ordered last Friday,we are soooo excited, every time the infomercial comes on we sit and watch(lol)we 've wanted for ever but its was a little too pricey for us at the time ,since we need it everything else like the push-up bar, bands, dumbbells and the yoga mat.plus the recovery drink and vitamins.you can probably do it with out all that but i wanted everything so we are ready to start as soon as it arrives .can't wait...i did the firm workout dvds for like a month to build up some strength.i truly believe that i am going to get my butt kicked like  never before.good luck to you!!!

The Recovery Drink is really good. A bit of advice though. When I first started drinking them, I couldn't get them mixed up enough and I hate lumps in my drinks. My friend told me to get a Magic Bullet to blend up the drink and it works awesome. There might be other little mixers out there that will work as well. I mix my protein drinks and meal replacement drinks too. Anyway, good luck!!!

I Just finished week 1.  I love it (but I hate it).  It IS hard...but I'm convinced that I'll get results for that very reason.  The nutrition aspect is great too.  Great meals with great recipes and everything is explained thoroughly.  I'm doing it with my wife and she likes it too.  I say go for it!

P90x rocks. We got 9 people at my work now on the program. We work out Monday through Saturday. I also do an X Stretch on Sunday.

I am way over weight so the changes they see on me are blowing them away. I eat 1800-2000 calories per day and am loosing about 3 pounds a week and inches around my belly.

I use their recovery formula which has virtually eliminated any aches and pains and maintain a low fat diet with no junk food.

Try it, they offer a money back guarantee if you don't like it.

You need to be somewhat fit before you begin P90x.
