Quote  |  Reply

I was wondering if anyone has or is doing the P90X Lean.  My sister bought the system although she is already in impeciable shape, she just had a baby and wants to tone up quick. But I was wondering if anyone has done it for actual weight lose?

Hi,

I started P90X Lean yesterday. I am 2 days in and very sore. To make a long story short i turned 39 in December i have always weighed 100lbs or less.As of March 1st i weighed 150. IDK what happed. But i am using it to lose weight. I heard it worked.I will keep you posted.

Hi,

I just finished week one and start week two tomorrow.  I started at 233 lbs and weighed in at 229 this morning.  I didn't eat out at all during this period and really only adjusted my meals to include more protein.

Armed with nothing more than a single week of exercise, I am a believer in this program.  While I hope to get down to about 180 - 195 lbs, I wouldn't be upset if I ended up at 210 but with a lot more muscle!

Best of luck!

My boyfriend has this and he swears by it.  He already works out 7 days a week and is a triatholete, but he says this kicks his tush!

I'm just finishing week 2 and its pretty cool. I've been working out in a gym for 17 years but after my 3rd child in Feb, I needed something to get me into shape for my wedding in August. I didn't lose any weight the first week but lost 3 pounds in the 2nd when I started to follow the diet part of it. My protien is at 50%, carbs 30% and fat 20%. Its pretty hard as my body is still craving sugar but well worth the effort.

do the classic version instead. i really only think that they include the lean version to appeal to women. it never mentions anywhere that you will become more lean by doing the lean version, its just for people who enjoy more cardio. to burn significant calories, you have to build muscle.

im sure lean is fine, but you'll probably get faster results from doing classic, so i suggest that you do the classic, but just make sure you use less weight and do more reps.

I have lost 17 lbs in 30 days doing P90x lean

Next phase I am switching to Classic.

! Surprised

2nd wk in P90x lean..havent seen pounds droppin but INCHes yes..so far 1.5 in my waist.. inch in my hips..so i am totally sticking with lean then swith to classic or doubles on the next 90 daysLaughing

I'm doing the lean too!  I'm on Day 7 and I don't plan to weigh myself for a while, maybe around Day 30.  We'll see how I feel at the time...

Hello,

I just started p90x because dieting was not working fast enough.  I had my 1st little people in Jan, and gained 60 lbs. to reach 203 lbs.  I went down to 175 after having him...but my normal weight is around 140.  Dieting brought me down to 168 in three weeks.  I've added P90X and I'm on week 2 of Phase I with the lean workout routine.  I am currently at 161.  Keep in mind that with P90X you get out of it what you put into it.  If you don't diet (low fat, high protein, and high GOOD carbs, overall you should be eating around 1400 to 1500 cals a day)  while on P90X all you will do is build muscle and do toning...no weight will drop off.  If you really work at the excerises to you can't do anymore, then keep going until you body can't do anymore you will see amazing results.  If you are only planning on doing what makes you comfortable you won't see much results either.  It sounds hard, but as long as you have a strong enough motivation to lose weight...and a weight goal in mind you will do great!!   Hope this helps....
