P90X - One Month in (before - after pics)

I am sorry to be negative but you know you are looking good why do you need to rub in the 6pack? Some of us just want to have a flat stomach, after a baby I will never be ripped so don't ask me to see your good looking pictures again! LOL

Your looking great and you should be totally proud of what your accomplishing including wanting to show it off!  It's your right after all that hard work!!!!

I am doing P90 Masters right now (baby steps till the X for me).  I know its a hard program and you are going to look AWESOME by day 90!  I saw on your blog that you metioned your food being off, you better get it in check man, if you do your results will be ind boggling :)

yeah my diet was off a bit! Not the amount of calories but the quality of the calories!! I was getting way to many carbs at the end of the day and it was effecting me gains!! But now I'm back on track and starting to cut up nicely!!

I just started this program...I love it...although I was thinking of doing the lean program instead of the classic...but who knows, I started with the classic I will stick with it.  I sucked so bad at the chest and back but kicked ass on plyo...I love plyo!!!  Today is shoulders I am looking forward to it. I hope to see some results like yours...oh and that AB X kicked my ass too...I get to do it again tonight!!!

I saw the infomercial on tv the other night.  I know mixing up exercise routines works.  I thought the exercise looked really fun to do, although I am not sure I can do a pull up.  I've never been real good at those. 

I sent my hubby the link.  I am still trying to convince him the program is good for us.  Now I know there is something less intense so we could take it up a step at a time that would be cool at least for me. 

My hubby plays soccer and is pretty strong, so he could prolly do it.  He has these love handles that won't go even though he loses weight.  So, maybe your pics will convince him.

My hubby didn't believe me when I told him we needed this program, he just thinks I fall in love with products I see on tv.

Hey Surgence i have a question regarding this P90x stuff,  after the 90 days session, what happens next?  Do you start over? Or just continue the last few exercises of the P90x stuffs...

Regarding your 1 month, have you lost weight? Gain weight?  Have you increased your food intake?  I am afraid i will gain all my weight back when trying the P90x,  i lost 20+ lbs but that is with dieting and excercise ( Abs 2 Diet Workout , 2 months already)  Was thinking if i should start looking for another program, but this program seems to encourage eating more meals and portions as you say.. Advice me please.

After 90 days? hopefully you continue your healthy lifestyle! I dont think I'd be very happy being in a workout program all my life! And frankly you dont need it! I say reach your goal (through a program like 90x or on your own), once you reach that goal maintain! By the time you reach your goal you'll be on the right track to being healthy!

 Dont worry about gaining fat at all! There is so much cardio and weight training that you will be burning a great deal of the calories you take in! I have lost a great deal of body fat after just one month! and I think I tend to eat a little more then whats recommended (trying to bulk up!).  

 I see programs like p90x as learning tools! once I get done I'll continue to use the exercises in my regular workout routine. but modify them to suit what phase I'm in (bulking or cutting).  Hopefully I answered your question! I'm jumpin around a lot! haha

Makes sense,  if possible, after your p90x workout, can you post also in your blog your workout routine for maintainance, currently, i will try slim in 6 first, then when i am ready, i will do the p90x in October.  Hopefully, by December i will get Ripped :D  After that, i will take into account your workout routine for maintainance :D.
For sure! I plan on keeping up with my blog for awhile! so dont worry about that! Just keep checkin back on it! Here in awhile I plan on getting a little more info involved with it!

I was wondering how the workouts are on this p90x thing work. I've been intrested in it but haven't been able to find out how or when to do each exercise group. I know there are 12 videos but how do you know which one to do on this day and the other the next day. I know i can do this program as i can do 125 pushups,  26 pull ups, and a total of 150 reps for abs plus legs and all that. But i don't have that lean ripped look that i've been working hard for, my body is just rock hard all over without much definition. So will this also get me lean and ripped along with adding more reps to my workout. Ohh and how is the workout separated.
