On a quest for the illusive gap between the thighs - (closed)
I am currently 190.5lb 5ft8/9 tall with thighs measuring 25 inches each(well at least they are symetrical, the only good thing I can say about them)
I am creating this topic in order for us to share tips on how you have/intend to get that illusive gap. And for people to share how successful their methods have been/ are being so far.
My strategy
1) lose weight, I am losing weight at a rate of 2lbs a week and have been for a while now and hope to stick with it.
2) excercise bike, I plan to up the amount of time that I spend on my exercise bike and if the weather is good(I am from the UK so I don't hold much hope) then go cycling outside aswell.
I will try this for a while and will post my thigh measurements(and weight) each week.
And out of curiosity, if there is any of you lucky people out there with "the gap" how small did your thighs have to be to get it?
Come join me in my QUEST !!!

Ack! I weighed in at 110.5 this morning!
Hips - 39 in - same
Thighs - 24 in - same
Waist - 24 in - same
Weight - 136 lbs - up 1lb
Height - 5'5
BMI - 22.6 - same
Just an update, sorry I haven't been around much, how is everyone doing?
I am now down to 175lbs from 190.5lb in this task (started at 210.5)
My thighs are now at 24 inches, so that is an inch for a stone off I am hoping that it will be a little easier as i get closer to goal
Measured last night to find out I'm up an inch in my thighs and two inches in my waist!
I look terrible!
This worked amazing for me, and even got rid of cellulite! (DUN DUN DUUUUNNNN, everyones "worst" nightmare unfortunantly lol) I also have a gap between thighs now!
Exercise ball!
- -Lie down with ball squeezed between ankles. *picture it now!*
- -Raise your abs, bum, and body up, just far enough, let's say, 35 degrees???
- -Squeeze like that for a bit, I do it for 20 seconds up, and then let your bum and body relax for another 5 seconds.
- -Do it again! YAY! I usually go for about 2 minutes, BUT, do it however you feel comfertable, any raise is better than no raise! lol
Works for me *shrugs*. Take care, and good luck
when you say raise your abs and bum, do you making a bridge?
lol. Yes, yes I do mean make a bridge, I just had a hard time conjuring up the terminology for it at the time. But yeah! Create a bridge, hold 20 seconds, drop for 5 and raise again for another 20. Works for me, I don't know if it is correct though, but it made me lose thigh weight and I lose cellulite.
The exercise where you lay on one side, stick your top leg strait out and raise the lower leg to meet it, and hold it for 10-30 seconds, based on skill... that works.
That +weight loss.
Unfortunately for me I'd have to drop down to an unhealthy weight to get 'the gap'
Hips - 39 in - same
Thighs - 23.5 (right), 2.75 (left) - down 0.25- 0.5in
Waist - 24 in - same
Weight - 134.5 lbs - down 1.5lbs
Height - 5'5
BMI - 22.3 - down 0.3 points
There's light at the end of the tunnel after all; my gaps are finally coming back... I'm not quiet there yet, but I can see that I've made some progress.
Good luck everyone!
Great job, Icequeen.
I didn't have a chance to take my measurements yesterday, but I'll post them tomorrow morning!
Thanks, Collier!
After fluctuating like crazy, it seems like I'm acually making progress.
Should be getting back in the gym today after my last exam. Good luck everyone!
