Since I restarted eating around 4 months ago, I have been taking digestive enzymes with hydrochloric acid and added oxytin, biotin and pepsin. These were perscribed by my nutrionist because I was getting terrible bloating eating only small amounts. She said I probably had a very low amount of acid being produced in my stomach (acid to aid digestion). The other day I forgot them and ate dinner without having them and i was v.bloated and felt sick.

My q is-is it possible that i might have to take them forever? or at least for a long time?Could I have screwed up whatever body part produces the acid to breakdown food from years of undereating?

(P.S-Does anyone else find that if they get tooo hungry and leave it too long before eating and then eat, they get v.bloated?)

WOW...I am not alone!  This happens to me almost everytime I eat...And the only time that I ever feel fine (not bloated) is when my stomach is empty!...I use to praise myself for eating like a bird but now I am not so sure...I even force myself to throw up since the bloated can make me feel gross for hours on end...Do u feel bloated after you exercise as well?...I just had a baby 5 monts ago and I am doing well weightwise but I would really like to get rid of my last five lbs and flatten my belly...I've been taking NATURAL APPLE CIDER VINEGAR for a week now and it seems to be helping a lil...

And...to answer ur ques, i think that you def. have to take that stuff for a least a yr, so ur body can regulate itself.

i wouldnt think so my guess is when you reach a healthy weight this will get better. the body is very clever at sorting itself out but this takes time i have noticed i get bloated if im hungry to . try to hang on in there and keep doing what you are doing im sure you wont have to take them forever , sorry i cant be more help but i wanted to reply and say hi xxxx
