Question about the activity level

Quote  |  Reply

I work at home as a computer programmer, so that's Sedentary all the way. But three times a day I go for a 1.5 mile walk to the grocery store. And I consider that Light Activity.

So I'm curious which category I would fit into: Sedentary or Light Activity.

Can somebody please answer this question?

I am having the same problem. I sit at a desk for 12 hours (or more sometimes) a day so i know i don't burn many calories..however about 3 times a week i work out for about an hour and a half of which about 30-40 of those is rigorous cardio (sprint intervals..sometimes with stair climber also) then the rest strength training all of which keeps my heart beat up. there is no way i am sedantery or light on those days so the calculator would be way off. do i need to just keep it sedantery as i sit all day long. then just let it calculate the activities?
