a question to all guys, from a girl
I'm just commenting too, as a girl, because this is something I've always wanted to know. Having a lot of guy friends and three outspoken brothers...I have always heard the same. "I like my women to have curves..."
"Manly" men like a woman who is curvy. They don't want to feel like their with a man. Which is utterly ridiculous because I think really defined abs on woman is way sexy. Its my goal to say the least.
The sexiness of a girl with well defined muscles, for me, goes far beyond just physical attraction. I know the amount of dedication and sacrifice that it takes to maintain a low percentage of body fat. A lady who can achieve this feat is incredibly alluring to me for both the physical and mental traits it takes to sport this look.
Melkor has a great point regarding the "put up with me" post as well; I've found that it's much easier for fit ladies to accept the time and energy that I personally dedicate to keeping myself in shape, than girls who are less physically active.
Super sexy especially when accompanied by tattoos.
If a guy is intimidated by a girl with six-packs...he may have some confidence issues.
Personally, I like women who are tall, more attractive than I am, and make more money than me; Charlize Theron, Milla Jovovich, Hedi Klum, Amber Valletta etc...etc.

Or just want to date a girl? I think you making a comment like that speaks more about you then those of us that you are trying insult who want to date someone more femine. Jesus...
I would prefer more Scarlett Johansen then Miss Fitness USA out of preference. I respect it and it is attractive but not for my first preference or not a deal sealer.
@giggle_puppy: I just wanted to say I love your tattoo :)
I´m a woman so I won´t say that a flat tummy is way sexier than 6pack. oops, there, said it.

Okay. I seriously think people have opposing views on the definition of the word curvy. I've heard people use it instead of chubby, for someone that had a few extra pounds. Rolls aren't curves. There's nothing curvy about that in my view.
Curvy is someone that's fit with a flat belly, that has an hour glass curve. A slim torso with accented butt and breasts are proper curves. It's not curvy or feminine to consider huge breasts comprised of 99% overweight fat appealing. And yes, I realize that breasts are generally fat and mammory glands. But breasts that are large just because the fat in them defines their unhealthy body is not attractive.
Just because a woman is fit doesn't mean she's a line segment. Body builder women generally lose their breasts since body building works off fat, and breasts are half fat. However, women with core defination alone can still maintain feminine curve.
I can't think of the name of the thread I read before, but it got to the point. People were they talking about how no girl could possible be a size zero and maintain breasts. They went on to say all size zeros looked like boys without curves. I disagree. Some girls wear a size zero and maintain a C cup. Depends on their bone stucture more than anything.
Personally, I think girls that are visibly tone are more attractive. That doesn't necessarily mean a six pack, but definition all the same. A flat belly doesn't mean you forgo your feminine curves. Perhaps, to some that were never that endowed to begin with. I think that some women don't know their actual breast size, because they're too overweight to see it.
In reality, a woman 5'2 that's 180lbs with a DD isn't curvy. Someone that's 5'2 105lbs with a C cup is curvy. One is fat the other is curve. Fat rolls aren't curves.

Well I am really doomed -- I'd have to have so much plastic surgery to have a flat tummy and a C cup to boot!!! Even when I was 50 lbs overweight I couldn't fill a B and no one sells bras 44A's Since losing weight and doing weights I can now wear a 36B comfortably but I stilll have that middle aged child bearing belly. I do have a slender upper body but from 3 inches below my belly button to my knees are still not what I want. I think as we women get older the possibility of fitting your idea of sexy is not possible -- I guess that is why so many men leave their wives for young girls
5'2 at 180 with DD's can still mean a flat belly, or at least it can certainly mean the absence of a gut...
