Question about BMR and calories...
We aren't supposed to eat below our BMR no matter what right? Because it what our body needs to function correct?
I have been really struggling. Gaining and losing the same 5 pounds. Very frustrating. I got my thyroid checked, but after a second test. It is back to normal, and don't need medication. I was eating 1300 to 1500. And my doctor said it was possible that I was eating enough. Which makes sense because I would have no energy after work to exercise or anything. Even my fiance has noticed a difference since upping my calories. I'm more energetic!
Anyways, I'm consuming 1750 and burning an extra 300 calories a day as well. I'm trying to cut 250 or so, and then burn another 250 or so with exercise. Will this work for me to lose a pound a week? Or something???
I'm 5' 3", 23 yrs, and 172 pounds. Thank you!!!
Anybody??? ^^;

Thank you for replying! Well I'm certainly giving it a try. I have been working on exercising at least 30 minutes each day! :D I'm feeling good about this time around.
