Hi all!!!

Im new here, and Im loving all the tools on this website, they are great!! I do have one question, are the calories that I burn from activties that are entered on my activity log part of the total calories burned on my burn meter?

Thanks in advance for your help everyone! Keep up the good work!

You've got it correct -- what you add to your activity log is added to your burn meter.

Thanks, thats what i was hoping!

How many calories are you burning?  and how?  2750 seems awfully high for most women for losing -- unless in training for sports competitions.

I can't really give you any recommendations unless I have more information about you -- age, height, current weight, goal weight, activity level, exercise

I think you might be over estimating your burn just a little, however it doesn't really matter in this case.  I believe you will benefit most from eating 1800-2000 calories per day -- that should give you a loss of 1-1.5 per week.

And yes, you need to eat the maximum number of calories you can while still losing weight.  Why?  Because eventually, you will stop losing on that calorie load, and you will need to lower your intake or increase your exercise.  If you start at a higher calorie load (since you are already exercising), you will be able to decrease your calorie intake to restart weight loss (when you reach that stage).

It can be difficult when you go to eating totally healthy -- but learn to love nuts...  I used to weigh out 10-20 grams of walnuts/almonds to help me make my calorie goal -- good for you and very calorie dense.

Good luck!
