How much deficit is too much?
I am eating between 1400-1500 cals a day and I usually have 1000 cal deficit on days I dont work out and days I do, I sometimes have a 2000 deficit.
Is that too much?
I think you might have some calculating errors on your calorie count. Unless you've got some super hero metabolism or you're spending eight hours a day working out you can't possibly burn over 3000 calories a day. I have a fairly fast metabolism and I work out for at least an hour each day and I'm burning around 1400-1600 calories each day.
If you really do burn that many calories I'd up my intake with things like fatty fish. They provide good fats and protien. A 2000 deficit is way too much unless you're under a doctor's supervision.
You are only burning 1600 calories a day? That doesn't seem right either. Make sure you are including you full days worth of activities, including sleeping! Most people burn around 2000 calories a day just by breathing, bodily functions etc
No usually with the amount that CC says I burn and plus the activities I do (a lot of driving and some walking) and I dont work out that day, I will have around 2500 calories burned but when I only eat 1400-1500 that just seems like a big difference to me. It could just be that I burn more bc I weigh more but I was just wondering if this number was normal/ok?!
see if you've set your account up right, under account settings check how active you told them you were. I said I was "seditary" because I do a lot of sitting/ some walking during the day, so i'm set to burn around 1700 cals a day, see if yours is on the right setting, seditary or the one above it, and that will probably even out things
