Question for females only!

Quote  |  Reply
Hey, this is kind of a personal question for the females. I have been doing this lifestyle change for 3 weeks now and it's that time of the month and I was wondering if that could affect my weight on the scale. Do any females on here notice any change in their weight when it's that time of the month?

I gain around 3-5 lbs up to one week prior to TTOM. It helps to drink tons of water, since your body is retaining so much.
you know what I did for the first time. I am getting my period next week so I know I would be bloated this week. But I wasnt

Wanna know what I did? I drank 3 litres of water Mon-Fri and I had NO WHITE BREAD OR WHITE RICE for the entire week. Today I feel light.....
Somehow I gained a pound since yesterday and its ttom, so I KNOW its H2O.
I think I start to gain about 1 week before. About 2-4 pounds. I knew last month right when I was finished I lost 3 pounds. Now I am due today don't feel at all like it and I lost 2.5 this morning.. go figure.
My scale has actually been going down a lil bit since I started (couple days ago). Couple months ago it didn't move at all.
Just pay attention to what your body does this time so you'll learn how your weight reacts ... or ignore the whole thing altogether for a week or two and don't sweat it :)
I always gain weight during TTOM.  I stopped weighing myself during TTOM and start weighing again the week after.  Otherwise, I retain a lot of water, and my scale likes to remind me!
My body retains water during that time, so I usually don't stress out about the weight gain.
I usually gain about 2lbs a few days before and then during I'm always 4lbs heavier than normal. Don't worry though! It'll go away soon! :)
Well, it started last night and I weigh myself on Sundays, it should be ending or gone by then.. so I'm crossing my fingers that I don't gain!!
I am up about 5 pounds (maybe more) due to the onset of my period and BLOATED so dont fear, its water and your cycle will release it! drink a lot of water and cut back on you sodium (salty salt salts)
God yes, I always hit a plateau during that time of the month.
And always have cravings that are hard to control.
It's so frustrating!
Everyone is different, for me it's the week before that I hit a plateau and sometimes gain, then a few days in I loose a bunch of weight (probably water weight) and by the end I've gone up a little again, and am within a reasonable downward range of where I started in the first place.
