A question... about the food weight...
hi I was looking into eggs I love eggs, I saw that well there are different types of preparations listed here, but I have an issue, the weight we have to put is only the cooked egg or the raw egg counting the shell, or what ?
There are other fruits that make me think, 1 banana small, for instance is it the weight of the banana and the peel or just the banana ?

The weight of an egg shell is very insignificant, so I think it does not matter. As for a banana, I think the peel is counted as well because if the banana is unpeeled, it will be stated there. :D
I count my bananas unpeeled. One of the options is mashed and so you wouldn't mash the peel.
An large egg, without shell is 50g almost every time, and that's what the counter puts it in at. I weigh bananas/oranges without peel if I can and enter them as banana/orange/etc (the 'raw' option if there is one), but if I can't, fruits and vegetables are really all that calorie dense, so you may be off by 50 cals at the end of the day, but it's not like you're estimating peanut butter or something that is really calorie dense.
I wouldn't be too worried about shells and peels if you aren't somewhere that you can get rid of them before you weigh.
And per weight, the mashed banana has exaclty the same caloric value as a 'medium' banana, the options are just there to help you gage how much you ate, so Kisteel is right, it must mean unpeeled banana.
thank you guys
