I have a question

Quote  |  Reply
I have been trying to change my lifestyle by eating more and healthier.. Anyhow I dont drink my diet pop anymore maybe once a week or so.. Lately I have been drinking lots of water and it seems like I am bloating out like a balloon.. It seems like I am gaining weight instead of losing.  Would it be that I am drinking too much water or will it someday start to vanish.. LOL..

Thanks

How long have you been drinking water instead of soda?  It could just be your body adapting to the change.  Also if your body is not used to being properly hydrated (and soda isn't considered something that hydrates you) when it gets water it does let go of it quickly because it doesn't really trust that it is going to get more water soon.  Once your body adapts to its new pattern it will let go the excess water more easily.
agreed.  Keep on drinking that water! It is helping and your body WILL adjust.  you'll also get used to the feeling of being fullof water!  I used to drink a lot of soda too because I felt like it was "lighter" for some reason than water.  But you will start to feel better and it makes excersize physically easier to be very well hydrated.
Thanks.. I am sticking to the water I just hope I dont blow up like a balloon.. LOL.. Like last night I was so bloated it hurt when I sat.. I felt nine months pregnant.
Yeah. I was drinking a lot of diet soda as well. I just recently switched to tea instead. I figured that would be better than soda because it's more water based. I just didn't want to go  cold turkey to water. ( I'm not even a fan of tea. ) I was just hoping it would make the crossover easier. From diet soda to water. I don't know if this is helpful to you, but yeah. =-P
I do still drink lots of tea which I cant seem to give up.. But I do miss the soda once in awhile but I always seem thirsty.. But I am getting lots of water now.. I am just hoping I am not retaining it..
