Question to the happy owners of Go Wear Fit/Bodybugg

Quote  |  Reply

Hello everyone,

I have a question to those who are using GWF or BodyBugg. Do you find that you actually burn more/less calories than what CC approximates for you? Also, please share your stats (i.e. weight, height, age). I wonder how accurate CC is... It tells me that I only burn 1700/day (lightly active). I am 5ft 2.5in and 121 lbs

Thanks everyone!

I have the GoWear Fit!

I am 27 years old, 5'2" and 123 pounds, I work out 4-5 days a week and it said that I burn about 2000 on my sendentary days and 2300 on my workout days!!

Nicole, thank you so much! Our stats are almost identical!! - I am 28y.o. I had a feeling that 1700/day is too shy... What is your goal weight if you don't mind me asking? Also, are you experiencing steady weight loss each week (that is if your goal is to  lose weigh...)

Thanks again!

I just ordered the gowear fit last night and should have it late this week.  I am very interested in this as well.  I am a 5'9 male 195lbs working out 4-5 days a week and I keep plateuing every 3-4 weeks with what CC tells me, so I'm thinking I burn more than it says.  I'll get back to you once I know!

CC is actually pretty accurate for me. I have the GWF and on days that I take less than 5000 steps (my goal) I burn about 2200-2300(max) calories. Thats a usual day for me which is pretty sedentary and CC has me at 2110 for a sedentary day. I'm 21 5'7" and 213 pounds.

My goal weight is 115. I was experiencing steady loss, but then I took a few months off to kind of indulge, so now I am back to eating right and working out.

Ever since I cut back on sugar and processed carbs I have seen a better result!!!

I have the GWF and found I was, like I actually already expected, burning more than CC told me initially, hence the plateau I was on since practically 'forever', CC tells me I should eat slightly more than 1700. I am 43 years old, 5'5'', 172 lbs and work out 5-6 days a week (so had my settings at moderately active) I found though that with all the work in home and my job that I do, I actually burn closer to 3000 a day and so have to eat around 2000-2200 to not have too big of a deficit. I ended up setting my activity to very active, then it tells me to eat 1977 cals a day. (and even that would not be enough on a couple of days a week)
I finally started to lose weight again too !!! So I concluded that my GWF was actually a real life saver and worth each and every penny!

[edit] forgot to say my goal weight is 150 lbs
