having fiber one daily is not a bad choice but it should not be your ENTIRE breakfast, if you pair it with a yogurt, a few eggs, or a cup of cottage cheese along with a banana, apple or other fruit then it would be better. Having it daily though is a good way to boost your fiber intake.

I agree with chrissy! It's great to have, but I would switch it up and have only a half bowl with a piece of fruit and some protein, like egg or cottage cheese, or turkey bacon or turkey sausage!

lol I love fiber one cereal....only i tend to eat it at night as a snack!

I don't eat it at all because it's made with aspertame..

I think there is nothing wrong with it, but like the others, I think it should not be your entire breakfast.  I like to mix it in cottage cheese with a bit of fruit, or to have it with granola cereal and milk, with an egg on the side.

I don't like the taste of Fiber One. I prefer Special K cereals. I eat different kinds each week. This week I have one that is high in pritein. I have 3/4 of a bowl with 1/2 cup of 1% milk and a banana. All that along with a mug of black coffee is only 270 calories. Which is about the about the amount my doctor wants me to have at each meal (300 calories). Now this is not what I eat every morning. I,like the others, mix it up a bit. However, I still try to keep the calories around three hundred.

One warning about fiber one is that a lot of people have a hard time when they start eating it because their bodies arent used to the large quantities of fiber.  It has 12 gm of fiber per 1/2 cup (and 60 calories).  Many people report stomach pain and symptoms like diarrhea, bloating, constipation, and other not so lovely symptoms.

That being said, I eat 1/2 cup every day for breakfast, and I had no problems.  But you may want to increase your fluid intake (especially if you have more than one serving).

And start out with only 1/4 cup for a couple of days, if you think it will significantly change the amount of fiber in your diet.

You could definitely do a lot worse!! It's great you're trying to incorporate fiber at the start of your day!

Fibre One cereal is fine as a breakfast choice but when you're such a low weight you need a lot of other foods as well.  Too much fibre is very filling and that can make it difficult to get the calories you need to be healthy and grow strongly.  Better choices for you would be things like eggs, toast, peanut butter and full-cream milk to drink.

Given what you said in this post...   http://caloriecount.about.com/dont-know-im-ea ting-right-help-ft145435 ... you should really talk to the people close to you, probably go to see your doctor to get checked out physically and then work out how to get a better balanced diet.
