has anyone noticed that their cycle has changed since dieting. I have been going strong on cc for 3 weeks and I am late. I know i am not pregnant because my tubes are tied.

yeah I think mine's become more regular, and it seems like the actual flow-age is shorter. I think it's normal to have little fluctuations in the beginning but if you're really late, i dunno.
I was always regular and reliable until last December, after losing about 25 lbs.
Had 3 periods in December. Then none in January. Had one in Feb. None in March, and so forth and so on. It continues. My family doc says this can happen when your body senses dramatic changes - you won't ovulate if your body thinks you couldn't sustain a pregnancy because you're starving.
But if you think something could really be amiss, maybe go to your gyn and just get checked out. It could be something more serious.

Since I have been dieting and excerising, my cycle has changed. Actually, it showed up a couple days early and lasted a for 3 days.
My energy level was also better. Even though I was tired, I was still able to do a 30 minute cardio workout. In the past, I couldn't even get out of bed.
It could be that your body is adjusting to your new eating habits. Or maybe your eating to little protein or Fat?
When I was on the Atkins diet, I was late for about 2 weeks.
And it also was also short.
Go see your GYN Dr., Better to be safe than sorry.

just saw him last week.....oh well I will watch it i go back to him in 4 weeks...just glad to know I am not the only one.
my last period was almost non-existent. I am totally dieting healthy too... so who knows.
Hmmm not really. I am on the pill so my comes in time all the time.
I agree that if you think there might be a problem, see your
gynecologist. Personally, I dropped too much fat too quickly, and I've
not had my period in 3 months. I'm not complaining, mind you, but I was
worried until I saw a professional and had some tests done. It's fairly
common in athletes. I just need to eat more fat. (Never thought I'd say
that!)

I agree with the ladies above, go see your doctor/OB-GYN pronto. Changes in a woman's cycle can be a hint to a looming problem, or just a bleep on the radar screen, and nothing else. But don't wait. I waited as a teenage girl, and I did not get the treatment, and I ended up with more than I ever bargined for. Wise words above. Better be safe than sorry. :)
I had 2 periods in in June! I use my C-C weight log and add comments about my cycle so I can have a record to print out and take to my Dr. I agree with everyone else... Better safe than sorry. I would talk to your Dr.
ANOTHER period post?? It's enough to make a man go menstrual!!
lmao @ fine wine!
I used to take the depo shot and I never got a period.. I've been off it for about 2 months and havent gotten my period yet.. I know it takes awhile for your body to re-adjust from it but now I see that the new diet/excersize routine might have something to do with it aswell..

i'm a kid, so it's different...but around the time i started losing weight, i got my period....once. and never got it again. and i'm 16, and its been about a year and a half, so i dunno....i'm kinda worried.
