question.. may be silly... hope i did right thing
so what do you do when your stuffed...
i weigh and measure my food... a suggestion from my nutritionist so i do not binge and so that i eat the correct calories since i have ALWAYS had food issues from either binging or restricting but anyway...
i get so full and sometimes dont want to finish. but i do because i have to. i guess this is more of a rant then a question.
there wll come a time when i can not finish everything on my plate i assume. it just makes me feel like when i was a binge eater and i would lick my plates after plates. sometimes i just want to stop when im full! but im not allowed right?
When you've got into an unhealthy starve/binge eating pattern you have to make a conscious effort to eat regularly and take in the right amount. It will feel a little unnatural at first but your nutritionist is right to get you and your body used to regular meals of a certain size. Retraining your appetite. To avoid feeling full too quickly try to make sure your plate contains plenty of high-energy, low-bulk foods.... this makes it a smaller plateful but with more calories. Flavoursome foods are more appetising than bland ones. And try to eat a little more quickly. Lingering over food can make you feel full before you've finished.
It's worth persevering. One day, what you're doing will feel entirely normal.
