question about PB2

Quote  |  Reply
A lot of people here seem to have tried PB2 so I thought I'd ask this here.
I just ordered some but have not tried it yet. Does it taste much different, and is the serving size 2tbsp dry, or mixed?

it tastes a little different, but not too much. i really like it. the 2 tbsp is only mixed with water so it's not really much of a difference i don't think.
What is PB2??  Where can I find it?
PB2 is a powdered form of peanut butter which is waaay lower in fat and calories (50 calories and 2g of fat for 2 tbsp). They only sell it online though (http://www.bellplantation.com)

What are the ingredients?  Is it like a chemistry project, like most other diet "food"?
These are the ingredients:

Peanuts, salt.

Nope, doesn't sound like a chemistry project to me!
How much is it?
I got mine for like $25 for 4 jars, I don't remember if that included s&h or not.  So a little pricey, but I was buying natural PB which costs the same if not more.

I think the PB2 is awesome.  It's just crushed peanuts with the fat pressed out, so no it's not like a chemistry experiment.  It tastes like...well...PEANUTS of course!  I find I also don't overdo it with PB2, since you have to mix it to eat it!  And I bought the jars quite a long time ago (months) and I only just recently emptied the 1st one.  It's not as addicting, like I said, which is a great thing!  Now PB is more of special treat, the way [I think] it should be!

That's my experience with it, anyway.

I checked out the website and the ingredients listed were peanuts, salt, sugar.  In anycase, I was pretty impressed with it being only three natural ingredients.  I bought some and it shipped today.  I'm a natural peanut butter fanatic, and can eat spoonfuls.  I hope this lives up to all the hype!!!

My shipment was delivered today....5 days from Georgia to NY.... and I'm happy to report that it has a pretty decent flavor.   There is a lack of richness to it, but I assume that's just a lack of fat.  It will take some getting used to, but it can be done.  Tonight I'm mixing it into Fat Free Frozen Vanilla Yogurt for snack.  Anyone else have any positive or negative comments about PB2?
