Question for people better than me with technology (everyone).
Okay, I have a question about MP3 players. My car, a 2000 Sebring, only has a cassette player. I remember a friend of mine attached a cord to his iPod, then took the other end of the cord and shoved it in my cassette player and it played!
So what is this cord called? Or is there any easier or less costly ways to play an MP3 player in my car? Thank you for any input! :)
it is called an adaptor... you go to radioshack, or staples, or best buy, or etc and tell them you want a cassette adapter for your iPod 00 they run about 15-20 bucks for the basic (which is all you need). That's how I listen to my iPod.
You could also get one of those radio station thingys -- but I've got no clue what they are -- something about being able to listen to your iPod through a pre-set on your FM dial
The cassette player is actually the cheapest method with the best quality without having to pull out your stereo. It's a cassette adapter.
You want this:

or this:

You can get them on ebay.
there must be someone here who knows but if you in North America, but someone that works that works at radio shack or best buy might know.
Awesome, thanks everyone! :)
You actually have two options, as people have already mentioned, but I thought I would expand a bit (being the nerd I am).
The first option is to get a cassette adapter. It's pretty cheap, and it's probably the best option since you actually have a cassette player in your car (most cars nowadays don't have them).
The other option is to get a transmitter. It's basically like a mini radio station, except with the broadcast range of probably your car, or the next. But I wouldn't recommend it since you have a cassette player. But it's still pretty sweet to have, if you have a radio in your house that doesn't have a cassette player, but a radio receiver, you could also use it in your house and transmit to that radio. I do it all the time.
But yeah.
