A question for people who have straight bangs...
Hey, I have straight bangs that run across my forehead like this picture: http://www.simple-hairstyles.com/wp-content/t hemes/almost-spring/images/hairstyle-with-ban gs.jpg
And my bangs keep splitting in the middle when I'm walking, does anyone else have this problem too? Does anyone know how to keep it together? I know a solution is to use hairspray, but it makes my hair all stiff and it cracks with white powdery stuff. Any other solution?
I usually part my hair to the side to avoid that problem. Maybe try doing that?
that happens to me too, but just because of the movement.
i think it happening is pretty much inevitable, so i dont worry about my hair when i go out walking.
unless, do you mean just walking in general? hairspray will pretty much always make your hair stiff because that's how it works. try spraying it from further away?
My bangs always separate but I just use a little bit of hairspray and it stays :)
Heh, I have that trouble too. I'm parting my hair to the side more now. :]
When I first got that cut a year ago (it's now grown out, but I still remember a few tricks), I remember it always split down the middle. Every morning, no matter what. What I did was as soon as I got out of my shower, I would towel dry my hair, then use my blow dryer to blow dry my bangs straight. Not a straightener, but just the blow dryer. Sometimes when I was desperate, I even got out of the shower, then clipped the front together so it would dry together. That worked 50 percent of the time, so try it for yourself. Or maybe you just have a cowlick that keeps seperating your hair. It remember it was so frustrating to start walking, and feel my bangs instantly part. It should get better after a while!
a good way to keep your hair in the same place:
sometimes to avoid the stiffness of hairspray, use it on your hair when its wet same effect yet more natural
next take a round brush and on a low blow setting on your blowdryer use the brush to curl under your bangs and dry it that way, if you still need some extra support you could instead apply some gel to your wet hair and then after blow drying use a mild hairspray and spray on about a good ruler and ahalfs worth, using a weaker hairspray will not create such "stiffness" and sometimes it all depends on the brand of hairspray, you might want to splurge at a hair salon and get a really good quality one that will definately not stiffen your hair
thats what has worked for me! :) hope it does for you :)
